FYI I am using 10.8.5 and the latest version of office

I have a signature in my mail.

If I type a message all is well.  if however I put the curser just above the signature and type it jumps after one word (iow as soon as I hit the space) to the last line of my signature.  very annoying if I do not watch this.

any solutions or suggestions?

I am trying to transfer my PST file from a Windows 7 laptop running MS Office 2010 to Outllook 2011 running on MacBook Air.
I have copied the whole PST file from the Windows environment, copied it across and carried out a File Import on the Mac. I can only see the emails but not the Calendar & Contacts. Don't these items get tranfered? I thought they were part of PST file?

I am using Outlook 2011 on my MAC and Outlook 2010 on my PC both connected to my Exchange Server which happens to be MS Exchange 2010 at a hosting site.
Now, I have 237 appointments (out of 10100) that show as meetings in Outlook 2011 on the MAC BUT show as normal appointments in Outlook 2010 on the PC. i do not use meetings and I never created a meeting, so these have been switched over probably while trying to sync with an Android phone!
How can change these back to appointments in Outlook 2011?
Thanks.
I have an iMac with Snow Leopard and Outlook works great. Got a Macbook Air for Christmas and downloaded Office from Microsoft site, and it's been one problem after another. I entered all the settings correctly, that and usernames/passwords verified by Roadrunner (webmail works), but I'm getting messages that it can't find either of my two accounts ("not connected to ..."), and both have amber dots in Accounts, though earlier both were green, then one green and one amber, now both amber;  authentication messages; can't send now try back later. "Outlook cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct." (there's nothing wrong with the server). It's also sending some of my personal incoming email to junk. I had to put my iMac Outlook contacts on a stick to get them to the Air.I have never had such problems in email.  If I reinstall, will it wipe out all my work? And does a reinstall count against the 5 computers I'm allowed to use my Office app? Any help appreciated.
This is no doubt a very easy issue to solve but I can't work out how. Somehow, I;ve lost the useful feature that hows how many unread emails there are in each folder of the sidebar in Outlook. How do I get that back?

Mac OS 10.9.1; Outlook for Mac 14.3.9.

Thanks!

Ian
We recently moved our organization to Office 365 hosted Exchange. Since then we have been having issues with Mac Outlook 2011 clients not being able to update their Offline Address Book.

This has been well documented in several threads that all end up marked as "solved" when in fact there has been no solution provided by Microsoft that I can find.

Does anyone know a way to actually resolve this issue? We are well past update 14.3.2 which supposedly fixes this issue, but multiple users are still unable to get an updated OAB. The only way to get an updated OAB is to force a full download by deleting the following directory: ~/Library/Caches/Outlook/Main Identity

Thank you,

Hi there,

I just bought Office Home & Business for the Mac and have been organising my emails into folders. I created a folder for certain Sent emails so continued to drag many emails from my Sent folder to this new one, only to discover that the emails have disappeared entirely, and there are no emails in the new folder, nor the selected ones in the original folder!

Am I being blind, or can someone help me please?

Many thanks!
