When I open new emails in Outlook.  It crashes. This doesn't happen with all new emails, but there is no pattern as to which one it does happen for.

The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account: this is the error message with code 19721.

Some information:

- My device: MacBook Air

- OS X: Mavericks 10.9.1

- Outlook 2011 for Mac: latest installed updated: 14.3.9

- Account: Exchange (server Exchange 2013)

The Outlook synchronize folders, including In Box. I can delete, move to folder, edit contacts and calendar. The same account is configured at an iPad, iPhone and tested at Outlook 2013 for Windows pc and all those devices can send messages.

The Outlook was running last 2 months: no problems for send until last monday (I'm not sure, but I think after the last OSX up date).

At my Mac I tried:

- delete the account and setup again;

- uninstall the Outlook and reinstall again;

- uninstall the Safari and reinstall again (it was a tip at a specialized forum);

- format HD, install the OSX and Outlook 2011.

I have no idea what can I do now? It is so important for me, because using Mac the only option I have now to send messages is using OWA. I need this for work, I will appreciate any help. Thanks so much.

I upgraded to Mavericks several months ago and just now Outlook is downloading all of my old messages over and over again. (I just installed the latest update to Office so that's not the issue.)

I read the MS post that this isn't an Outlook issue (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2011-macoutlook/outlook-my-outlook-keeps-on-receiving-old-messages/0555b601-5be3-4ec2-8d33-14cfc9fac1c8), but it REALLY IS since this NEVER EVER happened in the prior 10 years or so I've been using Outlook but is now an on-going issue.

I also have a PC and with OFFICE and lo and behold IT REFUSES TO DOWNLOAD ANY OF MY E-MAILS!!!!

I don't know what happened but is sounds idiotic that this has NEVER HAPPENED previously, but now all of a sudden is a constant pain in the A!

I have a friend who recently bought a MacBook Pro to replace her pc. She had Apple migrate all her data over to the MacBook Pro. We then installed Office for Mac 2011. Her preference was/is to use Outlook for her email. This only became known to me after I got her email set up and working in Mail (Apple's mail app). I then proceeded to set up Outlook with the exact same settings that I successfully used for Mail, i.e., incoming and outgoing servers, ports, SSL, authentication (name and password), etc. There was a brief time when it was up and running, but inexplicably, this is no longer the case! The error message I get continues to point to authentication and her ISP's denial of services. Unfortunately the tech person for her ISP could not help me. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a MAC Book Air with Outlook 2011. It sends and receives e-mail via Exchange 2007 no problem - new e-mail appears immediately and send e-mail goes straight away. But if I read a message, move it or delete it the changes are not reflected in Exchange. I don't have the problem with OWA or iPhone on the same mailbox - just Outlook 2011. The problem appeared to start with no obvious trigger. I deleted the entire profile from the MAC and started again but after the profile was rebuilt the same problem occurred. Any ideas gratefully received!
Hello,

I am using Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 and I have successfully changed the colour of fonts in my mail signatures but when I try to do the same with hyperlinks they remain the same blue colour. Can I change the colour? If so, how, please?

Thanks, Helen
For the last few days I have had trouble moving emails into folders. They move, but leave the original behind, giving the impression that the move has not been successful. Except that if I close the main window and open a new one, the original email is no longer visible. It has moved successfully. I have tried drag and drop and have also tried Move from the Message menu. The same happens with deleting emails. So the main window does not seem to refresh properly. This is annoyingly intermittent. Anyone have a similar problem?
Hello,

On Outlook for PC, when I add a follow up flag I was able to add a text reminder (e.g. "Ask John Doe if further help if needed"). So that at the reminder time, this text reminder would pop up.

Can I do something similar on Outlook for Mac? Right now the only 'custom' fields I see are date and time specific.

Thank you!
I have purchased Office 365 and installed it on my mac, in the initial setup process it brought across my existing emails address along with the emails to date, at the completion of the installation the product did and update check which it identified that there was a later version which I would have thought the install I did would have been the latest, anyway in went with it and after it did the so called up date I was left with a standard outlook setup with no email addresses or email history, it appears to have taken back to a new starter clean sheet state. how do I get back to where I was which I thought should be a duplicate of the other outlook setups with all email accounts in place and email history logs. will it do this again on the next mac I also have to install it on. I have one original PC outlook set up which was my main initial platform I was using and decided to change out my offices to all macs which I needed a better email system than mac has which is why I need to get this outlook loading on right otherwise I have to set all up manually on all 5 machines which is a pain.
