Hello!

The other day, I was using Outlook 2011 for Mac to send an email with an attachment that I later realized was too large. After deleting the email from my outbox and sharing the attachment through another means, Outlook still seems to think that it is trying to send the message. As a result, Outlook will give an error message stating that the attachment is too large to send every 2 minutes. Does anybody know if there is a way to delete the process of sending the message (sorry if my terminology is a bit off)?

Thanks!

I downloaded the OneNote for Mac. When I create a To-Do in OneNote,  I would like to be able to assign it as a task in my Outlook for Mac (version 2011).

I use Xtra.Co.NZ as my internet provider and they use Yahoo mail for their mail service.

Since they upgraded their systems and now use SSL protocol, I am receiving the following error message:

[SYS/TEMP] problem retrieving message

Account name:  "is my user account name"

Error code: -16999

I am on an iMAC 2010 Intel Core i5 running OS 10.9.2 (Mavericks).  My email client is Outlook for Mac 2011 which is current.

The service provided can't tell me what the problem is or fix it, nor can they reproduce it in their lab.

Apple tech support tells me to call Microsoft.

I either can't get through to them or get disconnected.

Can anyone help me resolve this?

Thanks.

My company has recently started using Macs more. In an attempt to achieve a common platform for users, we have provided our OSX users with Office 2011 and our Corporate Antivirus solution (Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4). A couple of our OSX 10.9 users got caught in a report mentioning an infected attachment of the format:

/Users/<USERNAME>/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main
Identity/Data Records/Message Attachments/0T/0B/0M/147K/x26_147089.olk14MsgAttach

My question is, how do I work backwards from that path to know which email contained that attachment? I obviously need to delete it, but would like to know the message's specifics for due diligence.

Hi,

I imported a PST folder, and all the pictures in the mail body is showing a question mark. Did change the Outlook preferences under "reading" to automatically download pictures in all messages, but still not working. All my new mail in my inbox is showing correct, but the ones in my PST not. Please assist.

Hi there,

I use Outlook 2011 on my Mac. It autocorrects: i'm to i'M, I'll to I'Ll and i.e. to I.E. I'm a copywriter so these errors are hugely frustrating and I don't know how to remove these preferences. Since they are never correct, I would very much appreciate some help.

Grateful for any assistance!

Thanks.

MAC Outlook 2011 keeps duplicating contacts with MAC Address Book every time they sink. How do I prevent this?

I suspect these are invisible Outlook files.

Some are documents if I hit 'get info', some are split files.  all of them zero bites.

does anybody know why they are just sitting at the top level of my HD?

Can I delete them?

365 Office Home for my MacBook Pro has unexpectedly quit numerous times.  At first it closed outlook and gave me an error message telling me to reload the software.  So, I went into my 365 account and downloaded the software again.  It didn't change anything, except now the error message doesn't have any suggestions just "Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."  And they give me an option to report the problem.  All 365 Office products shut down shortly after opening.  This is the error description.  Any advise?
