How to stop email from being deleted with multiple iphones

Hi

 

I have an outlook.com email account that I view on three devices (PC at home, and two iphones).  I find when I delete an email on one iphone, it deletes the email on all the devices.  I would like to change the behaviour so that it only deletes the local copy on the device it was deleted from, and the email still appears on the other devices.  Is that possible?  I had that kind of setup before starting on outlook.com with a previous email service (POP3 type service).

 

I've poked around in all the iphone settings and all the account setting at outlook.com and I can't see anything obvious to 'leave a copy on the server' or something like that.

My hotmail account holmes *** Email address is removed for privacy *** has disappeared.

I have tried to get it back through the option you give for doing it, but it keeps saying the account does not exist.

Missing emails….

I was previously using Hotmail, and for the last several weeks I have been on Outlook.  I seem to be missing several emails, especially from a folder where I keep emails related to a specific subject.  These emails are missing from sometime in May 2013 through the beginning of August 2013.    This folder has been in use for a few years, and it is important that I retrieve the missing emails. 

You’re currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can’t be used with Outlook.com.

My system was crashed yesterday and I had to reinstall windows xp, the problem is I can't access my university email. every time i use internet explorer or even google chrome to access the email I get this message " You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account). "

I followed the instructions and cleared the cache and I even used my friend pc to access the email but It still in vain. I can't access my email, please help

Skype contact

I have a skype account, and msn account. I've merged them ever since the announcement of msn messenger being eliminated.

all my contacts has work well except for one.

i've been using outlook.com since early this year.

Now that Microsoft is bringing Skype into outlook.com.

All my contact in facebook, msn messenger and skype are appearing on my messaging list and people list.

And all except for one show absolutely correct status (when they are online on skype, outlook.com display the same)

Only for this contact, she is online but outlook.com will forever show she is offline. 

I contacted skype, and have done the recommended unmerge and Re-merge account - ISSUE UNSOLVED

I've tried refreshing my page as suggested on HELP on outlook.com - ISSUE remains.

i've tried on different machine - issue remains

I've tried deleteing each other on skype and re-add each other - issue remians

I just wonder why??

Old emails have disappeared

It seems that all of my older emails (pre-2009) have disappeared from my inbox.  How do I retrieve them?  My account has never been "inactive".

email messages will not open

Movie maker audio/video out of sync with long video

Brand new windows 8 laptop (with Windows 8.1)

All drivers pre-installed or updated with Windows 8.1

Windows update is current (no new patches available)


I recorded a 45 minute interview using the "Camera" app in windows 8.  It saved the file as an Mp4 (so content was generated natively with installed codex).  The movie plays fine as is, but I need to upload it to youtube.  As is the file is 2GB, so it will take too long to upload, so I tried editing with Windows Live Movie Maker.  The file loads fine and I can do edits, but no matter what I choose as save format results in the audio being off by 30+ seconds by the end of the video.


This seems like the exact scenario in all the windows advertisements (Capture, Edit, Publish), but just does not work.  Doing research, it seems like audio/sync issue are typically a result of variable bit rates for audio, but I can find no way to set constant bit rate for these videos.  Is there any way to address these audio/video sync issues for long videos?

I have a surface 2 and redeemed my SkyDrive code on my tablet. I then proceeded to go through a very lengthy process on the phone with Xbox support to try and shuffle around some of my Microsoft accounts on my various xboxes  I successfully completed the shuffle, but during the process of removing certain aliases from certain accounts and re-adding them to others, my SkyDrive account got lost in the process. I also talked on the phone with Surface support and they originally told me I could get another code from them because we searched all of my various Microsoft accounts to find my sky drive account, but had no such luck. The support agent told me to tell my problem on here and to ask for expert help from SkyDrive and that someone would be in touch with me shortly for more details and a quick a resolution. I have spent a combined 5 hours on the phone with Microsoft support services the past 3 nights. Please help and get back to me as soon as possible.
