I've been on WIndows 8.1 for a little while (week or so since release). Today I noticed a Skydrive.old directory in the C:\Users\username directory. What is this? It seems to contain older versions of some files from the normal SkyDrive directory, but
I don't know why it chose the particular point in time or how it showed up all of a sudden. Why now and what is it? Seems like a waste of disc space and could cause confusion if someone saved files there.
Thanks for any insight!
Had to do an update on a program. Required a uninstall so all the files had to be deleted. Did one computer just fine. New files uploaded and everything working fine. Installed updated program on second computer but cannot get the folder and files
in it to download to this computer. I did the manual download from SkyDrive online folder and moved them from the zip folder into the correct folder but they won't sync. Keep showing as a problem (red x next to all the files. Have shut computer down and
restarted still does not work. If I make a change to these files they won't upload.
I can not sign on to my outlook account in ipad. This started yesterday. I can sign on with another outlook account, but not my usual one.
I have always been able to send picture messages from my phone to my Hotmail. Now, just over the last 3 days, every picture I try to send to my Hotmail address says "Status: Success" but Message Rejected. What is the problem? I have done this regularly
and successfully for years.
When I go into a group (of contacts) I can only see four at a time. Is there a way to change from icons to printed names or at least to reduce the size of the icon? A list would be preferable. Can anyone help please?
I uploaded a series of folders with photos to Skybox. Now I see photos in the photos folder, but I did not put them there. Does Skybox automatically make a duplicate copy for the photo folder? Now I think I have two copies of each photo, and I've exceeded
my space. How can I check that all of the photos from my folders were copied into the photos folder? I don't want to lose anything.
I have had my account for years. In the last few days, when I cc or bcc myself on an e-mail, I receive a message stating, delivery, recipient failure, especially if there is an attachment. If I just say, hi; no problem. Is this related to an e-mail
I receive lately stating, your outlook box is getting full; even though I "dump" a lot, so it is not full. I just had someone send me an e-mail, and they received the same message, recipient failure.
