Unable to access account on mobile device after setting up account on Windows 8

Original Title: HOTMAIL PROBLEM ON MOBILE PHONE - URGENT

 

 

I have recently bought a new laptop with Windows 8. Due to tech problems, Microsoft technician kindly ' took over' my laptop and sorted out the setting for me whilst I was online. They explained to me that I needed a Microsoft acct which was set up as <removed by moderator> to enable windows 8 to run. They also advised me that Hotmail had changed to outlook and they set up an outlook account for me <removed by moderator> (although I cannot recall what password was set up on that, I thought they said it would be the same one as my Hotmail acct ???   However I can still receive my Hotmail emails on my laptop and I receive the odd email to my <removed by moderator> and this is where I can see my <removed by moderator> emails (very few of these received). My main problem at the moment is that I rely heavily on my mobile phone advising me when I have new emails for my gmail acct <removed by moderator> and my hotmail account <removed by moderator>  All was ok until I went onto windows 8 and I was given this new outlook email address to replace Hotmail - I know find that I have a constant notification message on my mobile phone <removed by moderator> saying -  Account Shirley Philipps requires re-login. When I click on this to perform the task I am shown a sign in window asking for my Microsoft acct and password. I have tried inputting my <removed by moderator> and the password (it doesn't like that) I have tried <removed by moderator> and guessed at all the passwords I have ever had and it doesn't like that and then tells me to sign in using my <removed by modereator> acct. When I do this it tells me that there is a mismatch with the name and password and to try again.  One thing is for certain I DO KNOW MY HOTMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD.  Please do your best to try and sort this out for me as I am now getting to the end of my tether with it.  My home telephone number is <removed by moderator> (my mobile signal where I live is virtually non existent when it comes to voice calls).  Also please note that I do not always get alerted to my Hotmail / outlook emails anymore on my mobile phone although I have not changed any of the settings on my phone.

I am trying to delete junk emails but they keep returning to the junk box

I am trying to delete emails from my junk box in the usual way ie send to delete box and then delete again there. For reasons I cannot fathom the emails keep returning to my junk box and will not delete. Help please.

Unable to receive emails from one domain

I am unable to receive emails from a specific domain which is using an MWEB IP block (ADSL) connection.  IThey get bounce back "BAY0-MC2-F42.Bay0.hotmail.com #550 SC-001 (BAY0-MC2-F42) Unfortunately, messages from 41.134.175.36 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. ## For the avoidance of doubt please note that the issue is not related to our email server or the IP addresses specifically allocated to Global BPO. Instead the error refers to the general IP block assigned to MWEB."

I am needing to archive a lot of my hotmail emails.. How do I do that?

How do I add and remove contacts from groups in hotmail? The menu item no longer appears.

I've not done this in several months, but I need to add some contacts to a group and remove others.  The menu items that once allowed me to do this no longer appear.  How do I add and remove contacts from groups?

You’re currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can’t be used with Outlook.com.

I keep emailing for it to be re-opened; however, they only find and recovered my email

I don't know why they keep stating for me to reset my password for my removed email address for privacy I already got in that account. I just need my school email which somehow disappeared. It is removed email address for privacy

 fixed. I try logging in and it is not found. Please look into this issue and email me with the finding on what I need to do at my working email
