Issues in Windows Live Mail after updates on Vista (can’t install)

I have been using Windows Live Mail on my Window Vista Premium computer for over a year, but since all the Microsoft Updates were automatically downloaded to my computer on 7/9/13, I can no longer use it.

 

When I try to open it, the minimized sceen comes up, but my curser will not enable use of the folder slider or open my messages.  If I try to refresh the screen or maximize it, the revolving circle appears but soon stops.

 

Then I get a pop-up window that jndicates Windows has a problem and will try to resolve it.  Then I get another pop-up that indicates Windows is unable to open at this time.  If I start over I usually get the same result.

 

I have tried use your recommended link above to download Windows Essentials 2011 to intall Windows Live Mail without the other progams within Essentials, but it will not download.  I need a solution NOW to this Problem!

I believe my hotmail account is compromised. Once I felt it had been compromised on 7/13 I changed my password. But still I see in my Sent mail, there some unknown emails gone out from my acccount. Please provide me the IP log history also provide me how to stop this

My account was NOT hacked but I was prompted to make my security info current, now I am locked out for 30 days. I NEED my email. Do I have any options?

I just got a new laptop with Windows 8. Under the User Account folder, there was a "trust this computer" option. When I decided to take that offer, I was guided to a verification page which had a telephone number from years ago which is no longer active. I changed the number, received a verification code by text, then discovered, apparently, that I would not be able to access my account for 30 days from today. I cannot log into my email account and I am expecting some very important emails. I normally check them multiple times throughout any given day. Does anyone know of any option I have that would allow me to access my emails now? 30 days is just unacceptable and will cause me serious grief. Please help. I'll check on this often. Thanks in advance!

I wanted to watch a Msft film. Suddenly (v. dramatic) it was not allowed.

The transaction to watch the video would/will go through all the usual steps.  On "entering" the confirmation there is a hesitation.  It then returns with the area  of the Xbox live region  is not the same as the Msft Acc't region and the transaction is declined.

I have difficulty dealing with this because I do not have an Xbox Live Account.  I do not have an Xbox. There is a gamer tag which was acquired accidentally. 

From time to time I like to watch a film or two so I would like to sort this out.  Any ideas?

I have had my cartridge refilled by cartridge world, when I put it in the printer, I get an error message:  Left cartridge incorrect.  Using PSC HP 2110 all in one.

Even if I change the cartridge, I get the same message and can't clear the message even if I hold cancel button.  Any ideas appreciated.

i have 2 days can't open my e-mail and if one time is open i press on the mail and it doesn't open i don't know why?
i tried all browsers and delete cookies but no result    every time it says to me  
Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now
and i press report it to Microsoft. many times but no result too

how did outlook.com get started or who thought about building a new look?

Lost folders –

Here is the text of a chat I had with "Milan" at tech support.  The solution he proposed did not work. His response to my question is in parentheses and bolded.  ( Milan:  Okay, on the bottom right of that pop-up window, please make sure that "all files" is selected.) I am having two problems:  I cannot upload certain files to outlook emials when using explorer. When I open "documents" I used to have a folder called "my documents" available. When I opened it there were a number of sub-folders I could access to input as file attachments.  I can no longer do that.  I could always do it with hotmail.  Also, outlook is not putting emails into an established subfolder that is on my list.  Here's the wierd part 1. on Mozilla firefox it loads the mail into the subfolder it should, but on firefox I cannot download the attahcments.  So - I cannot find files I should be able to find on Outlook when using IE. I can upload files to outlook email when using Firebox.  Also, IE is not sending files to a specirfied folder, but it does send them to that folder in firefox.  What is going on?
