Recovering Hacked Hotmail Account

Hello Moderator ,

My dad's hotmail  has been hacked , unfortunately  he does not remember  the  security  question ,  even i filled up the  recovery  form  i am not sure that will help  because of the  using rate of  the  e-mail , so  i need  urgent help to recover that  account  and  ready to  give  details  to moderators , in anyway  i need to  take over  the  control it back or need to  out of service  that  account  because  we have  important  mails  in that inbox and  we dont  know  how often  that  mailbox will be used  by the  third party companies.

Need to contact  with any moderator as soon as possible.

I RECEIVED A TEXT ON MY PHONE SAYING THAT MY ACCT WAS RENAMED TO A DIFRENT NAME AND EMAIL ADRESS WITH OUT MY AUTHORISATION, SO I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY CANT DO ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE. I CANT LOG BACK INTO MY EMAIL ACCT OR MY XBOX LIVE DO TO THAT, AND I CANT ENJOY MY 1YR XBOX LIVE OR  LOG INTO MY ACCT. CANT SOME ONE HELP ME RECOVER MY ACCT AND TO FIND OUT WHO HACKED IN MY ACCT

hotmail wont work on iphone

Since being moved to outlook, I could still use hotmail on my i-phone. Then it stopped being able to send messages.

I tried reloading it as a new email address and it would not accept the hotmail id said I needed hotmail PLUS??

All I want is to be able to access and deal with my hotmail when on the move.

HOW DO I DO IT???

1. Am unable to send emails on Live Mail, No error message, can’t delete messages or have access to tool bar.

Started out I couldn't send emails from another server.  Although configuration was correct, emails were stuck in out box.
Had a number of emails stuck in out box.  They wouldn't go.  So this blocked incoming emails because outgoing went first and when not able to go, everything else got blocked.
Then when I deleted them, Live Mail would continue to attempt to send nonexistent emails.  I deleted the the email address from live mail and then I could send and receive (briefly).  This happened first with one server and now it is with earthlink and gmail.  I haven't reconfigured the other email onto live mail again -yet.

Then I stopped being able to receive emails.  All of a sudden I could receive them and I couldn't send anything.  Which is where I am now.  I have no tool bar where I can choose to send, or check or reply etc.  When I attempt to send from another source I get that there is a problem. 

What do I need to do to fix this problem?  Delete Live mail and reinstall it? How do I save my emails and contacts before I uninstall WLM?

There are some other issues with WLM too.

Have 4 different email addresses, ( all Microsoft Accounts) 2 MSN and 2 Outlook.com. These are all set-up Windows 8 Mail App, outlook.com and Outlook 365. The only mail I am receiving is mail from the forums here and a very occasional piece randomly. No Outlook test messages when an account is setup, no l n newsletters, nothing. e Help, this is bordering on the Ridiculous. Have tried everything I can think of and everything I have read here.

Does “Archiving” do Anything but Store Messages in a Folder?

In GMail when you archive you can actually see that the messages are somehow compressed, saving space as well as the email. However, in Hotmail this cannot be determined considering you only see an email count and not the amount of space you have or are utilizing.

From what I can tell, it seems that Archiving merely allows you to make a folder to store old messages...

Why has nothing happened about slow upload speeds in several months?

I am amongst many users who have upgraded to large Skydrive accounts, then found that our upload speeds are appalling (~50b/s) and that uploads of a few Gb are taking days if not weeks, despite our connections working well and other clients (Dropbox/Sugarsync) working perfectly and tens if not hundreds of times faster.

Rather than finding a fix for this issue, Microsoft seems more intent on stifling complaints about it.

This was THIRTEEN MONTHS AGO!

Has there been any progress in sorting this out or are we just intent on ignoring it and hoping that people will stop complaining after their initial upload finishes? I am currently estimating that at the current rate it will take more than a month, if I leave my computer running 24 hours a day. I assume that Microsoft is not planning to reimburse my electricity bills over this period. I would prefer to hear that something is actually being done about it, or, even better, that anything has been discovered about the problem in the last thirteen months.

Any help very much appreciated.

no access after phishing report

A couple of days I reported a phishing scam email and since then I am able to log into my hotmail account, see the first page of my inbox but not go to other pages or open any emails. Also, the only button is the 'new' mail button, and no other buttons are visible at all; delete, sweep etc.

Was my account locked? No error messages come up at all.
