I cannot understand why we cannot switch back to Hotmail. It was much easier to add attachments and there is no facility to cut, copy and paste.

- I am using Outlook.com and would like to set a rule that will automatically mark certain emails as read.
I have set up a rule so that advertisements are filtered to an advertisements category and placed into a bulk folder, automatically bypassing the inbox. But I would also like them to be marked as read so that my unread email count isn't so high.
There is now way to be able to disable HTTPS connexion when using Outlook.com Email Service.
I tried with a few links, for example this https://bay163.mail.live.com/mail/HttpsLogin.aspx?rru=inbox&mc=4
But there I dont have option to disable it, on every link I click I am forwarded to an error page.
On the other side I followed a guide :

2. Go to your Inbox.
3. In the upper right corner of the page, select Options and More options…
4. Under the Customizing Hotmail section select Advanced privacy settings.
5. Under the Using HTTPS for Extra Security section select Go to HTTPS settings.

BUT my issue is that, in ADVANCED PRIVACY SETTINGS, I DO NOT HAVE THE HTTPS OPTION.

I have installed and re-installed. I have made sure "fetch" files is chosen. I have made sure my internet connection is working. no luck. The app will sync everything from the web, but if I make any changes to files/folders from my laptop, the web
will NOT sync to the app.

I realised the title of this thread has been posted for a lot of time. I have looked through them and found no solution.
The problem began when suddenly the time stamps in my email are not correct. Therefore, I tried to change my timezone in the setting.
When trying to change the timezone, the drop down menu does not have the option of my current timezone, which is Jakarta, Indonesia. However, the drop down menu of the home and work location does have Indonesia. So I changed my Home and Work location to
Indonesia and hit save.
After that, every time I click the Edit Personal Info, I get that message:
We're unable to retrieve information for this section at this time. We're sorry for the inconvenience, please try again later.
I have cleared my cookies and temporary internet files.
I have used IE, Chrome and Mozilla.
I have tried changing my language setting to Bahasa Indonesia.
None of these work.
And the worse thing is the time stamp of my email is still incorrect, now it has 8 hr different and it is really messing up my work.
Can you please advise on how to fix this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

So here is my situation, my hotmail account got blocked a while back, I don't remember how long ago it was. My issue is that when I go through the recovery stages I can not remember the information as I created the account a long time ago, and haven't
used it for years. However the account in question, which has been blocked, is linked to my xbox live gamertag, I have spent years playing games and accumulating a high gamer score ect, so gamers out there will understand how frustrating this predicament is.
What I am wondering is, is it possible to unblock the account in any other way, or would it be possible for a moderator to transfer the gamertag link from the account in question to this account I'm using at the moment, or if it could be unblocked for even
30 mins so I ay transfer the account link? Please help!
