Question about Outlook Express

I purchase a SURFACE RT on 7/23/2013 and created a Windows Account with my email address, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I used the Account and then closed the tablet.  After a while, I open the tablet and tried to enter my windows account.  The sign in said that the account did not exist.  I have opened this account to contact you using my wife's email address, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***..  I would like to have my email address as my Windows Account.   After talking to a SURFACE support agent, she indicated that the accoutn may not have been fully activited.

When we went in to recreate the account and it said that the account already exists.  Also, when we tried to recreate the account, only the account information is addressed and never the Password.

Now that "Contacts" are "People", I cannot forward an email, Press Release, whatever to a lot of my "People". How do I get my (formerly) Contacts List on the same screen with the email I am trying to forward to a bunch of People?? Help! thanks. very frustrating.

I used to be able to click on insert attachment and go to my photos and choose the JPG image to attach and then I could choose whether the size of the attachment would me small, medium, large, or original. Now this option no longer exists, and every photo I attach to an email automatically gets attached in the original very large size. The recipient then has to downolad each image separately, as they are too large to view as slide show.

There must be a way for me to choose to make attachment smaller.
