Question about Outlook Express

I am having this strange issue where I can only send emails through the website.

I can not send emails from outlook 2013, windows Mail and my windows phone 8.

Outlook just keeps trying to send or it gives up with no reported error, leaving the mail in the outbox.

Windows Mail tells me to contact my provider cause the mail couldn't send.

While my phone states the following:

Outlook error

Last updated 8 minted ago

Missed items:

Filled as: Last name, First name

This contact couldn't be updated on server.

We couldn't send one or more of your email messages. You may need to delete the message in your Outbox and then create and send them again.

Last tried 8 minuses ago

Error code: 1

As its mentioning a contact on my phone, I assume its a syncing issue with the server. I can receive emails perfectly fine through all devices.

If someone could be so kind to help me out.

Oh, btw, there is actually a name in place of the last name first name, I just didn't want to be posting other's personal info :)

when I login to outlook.com to check my emails, it automatically logs me in to messaging. and because when I check my emails at night, my partner finds me online and assumes I am chatting with another lady, this is causing plenty of inconvenience for me because you activate something for me automatically which I did not request for.

Kindly Advise URGENTLY.
