My hotmail account has been hacked. I have changed my password multiple times to very complex passwords over the last several months. I continue to see these emails show up in my junk mail. They are sent from my email address using my name & my career...so they are very specific. I am a recruiter & these job ads are being placed to look like they are from me. Then at the bottom of the email, there is a contact email address that is listed that is different than my own. Changing my password is not going to fix this. I need to know what I can do next to regain complete control of my account & stop the other usage. I am concerned that my only option is to delete this account, so if someone else knows what happened & how I can fix this...I would really appreciate step by step instructions on how to change this. Thanks!

in my particularly instance i want to add a business logo above my name

I think that my account has been compromised and I wish to obtain IP log of today's activity (07/29/2013) my surface was stolen and I would like to know if they had try to use it. I have already passed the validation process. Thank you.
I open my movie maker and add one clip and it stays grey for a very long time. No picture or sound.
many times it crashes and i cannot open a previous made movie as the sound and pics fail to load

Good Morning,
I have a question that for a week I was getting a notification when I sign in for my email to click for the 4 digit password. I clicked today and I got a 4 digit Microsoft Account Security code text to me from 44 7781 470659 number and after I entered that now I am realizing that If I did it right.  Please confirm if this info from from Microsoft it self or some one trying to get into my emails.  If this was not setup from MSN please reset my account.  For further information, Please call me at 604-728-2927.
Thank you
@MicrosoftHelps on Twitter has suggested I post this here.

When I first signed up to Skydrive in Nov 2011 from my new Lumia phone I had 25GB of space, total. Today I have only 7GB, total. Something seems to have shrunk in the wash. What's going on here and how do I stretch this back to its original fitting?

Seriously man, I have the same issues here. Okay, I haven't logged into my old hotmail.com and msn.com e-mail accounts for a while until just now, and as a matter of fact I never really paid attention even when hotmail was converted into outlook. Now I just logged into my old e-mail accounts, everything is gone. All my e-mails received from and sent to my friends and family, some crucial documents saved in my accounts - ALL GONE. It's like yay fresh new start F**K NO. Now, I can't even receive new e-mails - they are just NOT coming into these accounts. So, I surfed to see what the **** was wrong and found this thread and read all you customer service rep peeps' replies here and I am pretty sure that you guys are as much lost as I am. All your replies provide no solutions to any of the problems addressed in this thread. In other words, you guys just don't know anything to help users out man. I mean, who does not know how to transfer data from one e-mail account to another huh? And who does not know how to restore a damn message that one deleted from a trash box or a deleted message folder? And this is probably the most f**ked up part I think but since when hotmail (or outlook as it is now) started to automatically delete all the contents from an account due to inactivity? I have been using hotmail.com (or outlook as it is now...) more than 15 years now, and this sounds so goddamn new to me. I have multiple accounts, and some of them I don't even log in for more than a year but everytime I log in, everything used to be there. Now you guys telling me that if the account is not accessed for more than a year, everything is deleted automatically? Now that's really really f**ked up man. I really mean it. Never heard that Google ever does that type of messed up ****. I already have written a feedback via my outlook account regarding the new look or this whole stupid outlook thing but I'd like to stress this one more time. This whole new Outlook thing, is probably the biggest colossal failure ever by MS (and Windows 8 is in the 2nd place)... I wonder whose idea it was but whoever it was needs to get punched in the face like a hundred times so he or she gets the message that IT WAS NOT A SMART MOVE. I mean, do you guys even check how many the old hotmail users are baffled and complain about this new stupid outlook thing?

Hi Jeffrey,

I have exactly the same problem, and unfortunately none of your advice helps.

I have been using my hotmail account for years. I logged in today for the first time with the new Outlook interface, and all my e-mails are gone.

I had a lot of e-mails in my inbox which I have kept for years, all gone. Same thing with my sent items.

Nothing to be recovered from the Deleted items, my account hasn't been hacked, and I haven't been inactive for over 270 days (I actually logged in less than 3 months ago).

According to what I've been reading online this has been happening to quite a lot of users. Did you guys find any solution for this? Have all my e-mails been permanently lost due to Microsoft's migration?

Thanks

every so often I'm asked for supervisor password. I bought and paid for this and should have full control. I'm pissed and thinking of doing away with micro-soft altogether. My account pass should be good enough for supervisor? Can some body out there help me out?
