when reading emails the right hand side of screen as a wide margin down is it possible to reduce this.

Hello,

After I upgraded to outlook.com I have a empty mailbox.

Restore deleted messages doesn't work.

Any help please!!

Thanks!

I'm setting up custom domain using login.live.com services...
I've already created the mx record and the txt (server trust: "v=spf1 include:hotmail.com ~all").
It's "Active" according to the admin panel.
I've also created an email account, let's call it "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"

When I send a test message to this email account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** I've created, it bounces with the following error:

"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain mydomain.com by mx-vip-01.uni5.net. [177.185.207.35].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table"

How can I fix this?
My husband tried to log into our MSN/Outlook email this morning and got "It looks like someone else might be using your account" ... I've tried to submit the form (which says I don't have enough information) and sending an email to the listed email (which is no longer valid).  I NEED in this email to contact customers ... please help me get back into it!
Hi,

I was trying to change my primary alias to one of my current alias' or something similar, (this is before i saw in the forums that you need to delete the alias first). When i decided to do one that was similar i typed it into the wrong box (labelled use existing email address) as a result it changed my primary address to an address that doesn't yet exist but was in the category of existing from the option.
As a result i tried logging in and it took me to a page saying please verify, so i clicked the only option which was to send an email to the address i had typed in (but doesn't exist) and i can't use my other alias' to log in and view my emails. When i log in it takes me back to the same page about waiting on my verification, but since that address doesn't exist i can't log in and verify with it hence i'm stuck unable to view any of my emails.

I've tried using online support, spoke to someone called Zack, whom to be honest seemed like an automated machine if anything whom tried things like try and sign in, even though i'd explained signing in to reach my emails was the problem. Phoning didn't help either as none of the options to press numbers for helped at all and i wasn't put through to anyone it simply ended call.
I also tried to use the change primary email address to existing on one of my existing yahoo email accounts but even after doing the verification email i was still stuck at the same problem where i was still stuck at the acoutn settings page with no options to access my emails.

Any ideas on how to either revert things back to how they were a few hours ago or gain access to my emails so i can do the verification?

Dear Forum Moderator

Your assistance would be much in creating accounts for which the domains.live.com Administrative Panel for outlook.com produced the Title error.

If we try with scripts from the SDK we obtain the error, "The EASI member exists"

Ours is an old domain for which we are converting to email with outlook.com and undoubtedly our members have created Live IDs prior to it being added to outlook.com.    The IDs in question are probably unmanaged Live IDs.   For some account we had the option to evict or import the unmanaged Live IDs, but not for the ones producing the Title message.

I would be pleased to provide the names of the Live IDs in question with the domain name upon advice from you.

Thank you for your assistance.

How does one fix their tool bar to include from -- subject - some how I removed the from the tool bar and cannot figure out how to get it back.  Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I've had this problem for a while now, ever since Hotmail migrated to Outlook. Apparently lots of other people have too. Every time I login to my email, it works fine for a while but then develops a problem where my messages won't open. They highlight when clicked on, but don't open. Everything looks dead. I can fix it by closing down explorer and re-opening, but this is getting to be a real pain. I have tried several of the suggested fixes (clearing browser, installing Silverlight, etc) but nothing makes any difference whatsoever. The problem only seems to happen with explorer though. I have not yet seen the problem when using Firefox, but I don't use that much anymore. Somebody else mentioned that they had the problem using IE9, but not with IE8. I am using IE10. Is this some kind of bug with the newer versions of Explorer? or a bug with the new Outlook version of Hotmail? Unfortunately, I upgraded my Explorer about the same time that Hotmail migrated to Outlook, so I don't know which is responsible!

If so many people have reported this problem, why haven't Microsoft tried to fix it ONCE at their end, rather than asking hundreds of people (one-at-a-time) to go through this ridiculous sequence of things to check and try. This problem never used to happen with the old Hotmail interface, so obviously a bug has been introduced by Microsoft at some point, either in the migration from Hotmail to Outlook, or some kind of compatibility issue with new versions of Internet Explorer.

PLEASE HELP !!!

I've been using hotmail for years and have not made any changes re OUTLOOK. I have a Nokia Asha phone and until a few days ago I could retrieve my emails on the mobile but I now get a message "Can not open mailbox. try again"  There is no problem accessing my mail from a PC.Any suggestions appreciated.

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click
here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).
