Hi, using Windows 7 - 64 and Windows Live Mail 2011 (Version 2011 Build 15.4.3538.0513).  When I receive photos AS A SLIDE SHOW (ie thumbnails attached rather than as embedded photos), I am often only able to open ONE regardless of how many are attached.

I know it's possible to "save all" to a folder then open them, but because of the number of emails we get everyday (with multiple photos), doing that is an absolute pain and waste of time when all we really want to do is double click the thumbnails to have a quick look at each picture in full size.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
I tried to log in today. Was told i needed some stupid code, never needed one before and not once has my account been hacked. So fine what ever I tell them to send it to my linked account. I log out and attempt to log in to my linked account. Lo and behold the same idiotic message, I need a code to enter my account. The very same account that i had them send the code to. Regular bunch of Einsteins here guys, can't access either of my accounts because you genius's have locked them both out requiring some code. There is no way to contact them about this because, gasp, they don't give you a way to contact them. They tell you to go to the forums. Well did that and all I read were post answers that didn't answer anything. My emails are linked so they are not the same email address, yet both of them tell me i need a code and do I want to send the code to the other account. Which again I CAN'T ACCESS because I don't have the code. From what I've been reading in the forums it looks like this will never be fixed for me and will likely lock me out of my email for, what i think i read 6 months one guy was being told. Brilliant! I have never been hacked because I change my password every week like clock work, I've had my hotmail account since 2000 if not earlier, this is ridiculous. I liked hotmail better and I am fairly sure that if this problem is not taken care of I will be moving on to some other email provider. Oh and to clarify, when i log into my linked account all i get is the account summary page, I can change all my info, but can not access the email portion of my account because i guess there is something there they expect me to change? Not going to happen since all the links are dead ends, and there are no links anywhere on the page to access my email, to get the code i need for my other email. I only got to this account management overview page once the first time, no links worked no new pages loaded so i logged out and back in. Then they started spamming the code thing again on that account too. Good job guys way to break what didn't need fixing.

my mother has an account on Microsoft as well & she has been using it to sign in to Facebook. However, it's been more than a year that she never signed in to check her mailbox. Now that she tries to, there is a prompt that her account does not exist. Is there a possibility that her account has been deactivated by Microsoft? & if yes, then what should she do now?
I signed up to an email account a long time ago and I have lost the password.
I know I once had access to this account because I have emails I sent to myself from it, but though it was my intention to use it I never got round to the switch, I would no like to do so and I keep having to fill in password recovery forms which then tell me I have not entered enough information.
The account was the recovery email for my current current account as well.

I have phoned Microsoft and there is no official support, please can someone help me with this?

The latest password recovery form I filled in had the reference - 94830760

When I tired to sign into my college account today, this is the message that came up and it won't let me sign in.  Does anyone know what this means?

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).
gonna try this AGAIN,, but first how about adding a "search by poster" ??
have asked the following question before but cant seem to find it or any replies for it ????
NOW ,, having problems with wrong addy showing on e-mails sent to friends (contacts),,, they see 2 addresses for me ,, my real address "bikerdon8@hotmail" AND another address for "distancerider@hotmail...which they say appears first.... HOW can this be ??? distancerider is NOT me it appears to be a real site (distancerider.com) but i am not connected with nor have i EVER used this addy... WHY is it attached with my emails ???? i have scanned my pc with 3 different antivirus programs and they say my system is clear !! (they say they scanned their system and find nothing )  OR is this just another screw-up in the NEW  'outlook' scheme of things ??? have had the same issue in sending e-mail to several business related contacts,,, so whats up NOW ????
My hotmail account has been hacked and i cant recover it. I have tried to change my password but when it gives me the option off sending it to an e-mail address it is one i have not herd of which i cant acess or i have to answer a security question which is my mothers place of birth, i put the answer in and it says it is incorrect. The other way is to fill out a form and they will e-mail you a code to type in but the questions on the form are un answerable. please help i dont want to lose my e-mail address which i have had for over 8 years. is there a phone number i can ring where some one on the other end can reset every thing
Hi,

I really need some help here, I have just logged into my Hotmail account which has switched to Outlook. I'm not too keen on the layout but that is beside the point... I had over 4000 important emails stored from work and personal use which I cannot afford to lose. They contained writings, minutes, photo attachments.... The list goes on... I CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE THESE!! If I had suspected that using my email for storage was in any way dangerous I would have backed it up immediately, I have a busy life and hindsight is wonderful when this kind of thing happens, but it does not help!!

I need to retrieve my emails, and I will do anything to achieve this... Have I missed something obvious? If anyone can help, please reply.... Thanks,

Mike
I have over 2,000 messages in my inbox that need to be deleted. I cannot seem to be able to find a select all button to delete them all at once. I was told there should be one, but I can't seem to locate it. The thought of deleting each email separately is too much!
