Can you help me?
Thanks for your help,
I think I will go full cloud with my email and I'm considering to go gmail or outlook.com. However when I try to test outlook.com from my 3rd party email client it seems that IMAP is not supported. I almost can't believe it! Can someone enlighten me on this? I have seen other posts about it and find that outlook.com does not offer IMAP access but not why. I'm looking for an explanation for why this is, since it doesn't add up when Microsoft are aiming more and more to the cloud and one of the most important and widely supported protocols for this is left out.
thanks in advance
Søren
Original title: Windows live mail Server error 4102
Unable to send or receive messages for the MickRobertsHotmail account.
Server Error: 4102
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00001
I've been on holiday, put live mail on netbook, all fine for a few days, then the above error. I'm now back off holiday on big laptop in office, getting the same error, so presume just a coincidence as worked fine for a few days & is doing it on office computer.
I could send emails, but it's not receiving.
Nor is it updating my new emails received & sent from the holiday netbook.
Have been in contact with this party for almost a year? How do I get rid of this nessage??
thanks
STEVE
Moved from feedback
