Outlook Express was recently changed and it doesn't work right. I have been searching for the Send/Receive button but it is nowhere, so I cannot send emails. No emails come in, either. Have looked online for answers but they don't apply. Either the heading doesn't exist or the word under the heading is nowhere. Help!
Original Title :hotmail has combined my contacts! Help!
Hotmail has seemed to combine my contacts by name (for example, John, John B, John C are now all listed as one person with all information for each itemized).
I cannot seem to un-combine them. It has now affected my mobile phone - which is a windows phone - Nokia Lumina 822.
I have several HUNDRED contacts and do not wish to go through each one to "un link" them. There has to be a better way!

windows 8
have no problems sending and receiving e-mails
but can not log into messenger for the pass week >>>>???
I received an email from a friend into my Rogers email inbox from his Hotmail account giving as the subject "Hotmail". In the text box, appeared an http address and then below it, my friend's message. When I opened the http address thinking that he wanted me to look at something, it turned out to be the access straight into MY Hotmail account right into the InBox showing all my emails etc., also access to Sent etc.
When I contacted him, he knew nothing about it and when I asked him to check his message in his Sent box, there it was, exactly as I have said. He was astounded and erased it.
What has happened here? I have erased all of my messages in my Hotmail account both sent and received and am now frightened to use it.
When I reply to a conversation thread and get returned to the message list, about 75% of the time the conversation I just replied to is deselected. (But the contents are still shown in the reading pane.) I must first click another message, then click the original again to Archive, Delete, move, etc. Is this a known issue? It's been happening for me for a few months now.
