Since sometime last week, maybe Thursday, I forget when, SkyDrive has been asking me a LOT for a security code, each and every time I log into Windows. Why??????? It NEVER did that before, and I doesn't do that at home. This is becoming a huge PITA!!!
When I get to work, I've got a lot of important work related tasks to attend to, and bothering with this nuisance is a huge pain. I'm honestly questioning the usefulness of a cloud based solution that will not save the security code I gave it previously, always

I can't access my live ID account. When I tried to reset my password it said that the account does not exist. Apparently another account was set up using my alternative email account. This email account does not have any of the files I originally have.
I tried to change the alias back to my original email account, but it said that name is already taken. I've called customer service and they gave me a site where I can try to reset it, but the survey said my account does not exist. I've called customer service
again, but was redirected to this Q&A page.

I have the same problem except they are about to block my main email that i use for COLLEGE and Xbox live for not being able to provide a code that was sent to my alternate email that i have no memory of the information except the email itself. My main
email is (removed for privacy) and the alternate with the code is (removed for privacy) please help if you can!! And thank you

My laptop was stolen and on the replacement, was forced to use Windows 8.
When I keyed in the account number/email address, I was tired and a numeric character was left out of my account name ... I have since discovered that my keyboard frequently does this; have changed batteries and it seems fine!
Having focused on getting major applications and data onto the laptop, I'm finding I can't change the account.
I have deleted it on line as an account.
Can someone please tell me how I can correct the email address on the laptop as I now fing that if I delete the account, I lose all the data and applications I have downloaded.

Why is the contact list taking up almost 1/3 of my viewing screen when I am sending an email? gmail is different and much better. With gmail once you click on who you are sending it to and click OK the contact viewing pane goes away leaving a full screen.
This is a real pain when half of your email is shoved off to the side, Before one of the experts point it out to me, yes I know about the slide bar thingee but I still don't like it that way.

Depuis fin avril 2013, mon épouse dispose d'un compte sous l'adresse "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***". Elle n'en a quasiment jamais fait usage, je ne pense même pas qu'elle ait envoyé un message.
Lorsqu'elle a voulu s'y connecter la semaine dernière, elle a rentré plusieurs mots de passe érronés, le compte s'est retrouvé bloqué. J'ai tenté de lui débloquer en demandant un mot de passe à usage unique, elle n'a jamais reçu de SMS avec le mot de
passe. J'ai également tenté de le débloquer en passant par l'adresse mail de "secours", soit *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Les liens ont bien été envoyés à cette l'adresse, néanmoins, ils ne fonctionnent pas.
Mon épouse dispose d'un nokia lumia 920 dotéde windows 8. De nombreuses mises à jour sont disponibles pour l'appareil mais vu que son compte est bloqué, elle ne peut les télécharger.
De plus, le mot de passe était le même pour skydrive = Skydrive est également bloqué et toutes les phots stockées sont indisponibles.
Pouvez-vous m'aider.
