Every time I try to sign in to my Hotmail account or am forced to sign in after a few hours of inactivity (a new problem since Friday) I am told that I need a pin/code (also new since Friday) to protect me from hackers. I generate the pin by clicking
next, pick it up from my office email enter the pin/code and it tells me it is the incorrect pin/code. It also tells me that I have just a few days to straighten this out before I lose access to my account, but when I go to the help area can find no article
and of course there is no longer phone support for subscription service. So I am kind of stuck with an addional factor of authentication (the pin) that I did not ask for, a clock that is at 3 days left for me to enter a correct pin and about a dozen incorrect
Microsoft generated pins. Anyone have a solution to this dilemma? And why don't I get to generate the pin?
I upgraded my adobe flash player today, and NOW,....I have these "clickserve, clickjump" "ads" displayed above my messages in my "live.com" inbox.....how can I get rid of these!!!!?????
I have just noticed that I am missing the emails in my Inbox received ever since I created my account and up to 20-07-2013 (several years).
I don't know when they actually disappeared and they are not in any other folder.
I seriously need to get those emails back. I tried the option to recover deleted messages but it only returned one recent email.
Plus, something else strange happened:
1. At 20:31 (6th of August) I received an email from Microsoft welcoming me to the new Inbox folder of Outlook.com.
2. Right after that one, still at 20:31, I received a "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" email from postmaster@... regarding an email that I didn't send myself.
3. After that, my android email client configured with my hotmail account notified me it stopped receiving emails because the password of my account had been changed (again, not by myself).
4. I realized this only after a few minutes after which I immediately changed my password (Outlook.com was able to detect that my account had been compromised and prompted me to it after confirming my identity)
5. After logging in with my new password I realized I had received several dozens more of those "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" emails (each an attempt of emailing a different subgroup from my contact list).
6. At the same time I realized also that I was missing all my emails prior to 20-07-2013.

I need support: how can I recover my emails?
Getting this when trying to close account (which I just created a few hours ago). You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account. Trying to close it because it somehow created a dummy Xbox Live account,
which I cant remove/delete. There are no paid services, no Microsoft points, nothing is associated. How the **** do I close the account? Unique ID **removed by moderator**
I have an old hotmail account that's linked to the account I use. Because they are linked I hadn't actually signed into the old account in a while, so I'm guessing Microsoft assumed it was not active. Now I can't sign in to it at all. I can't reset the password because I created the account over 10 years ago, so I don't remember the security question and I've changed my phone number so they can't send me a code.
Please Help!! I need access to that email account still.
Thanks.
Hello,
Recently, I have been asked to fill in my e-mail & password immediately after I sign into Xbox Live. I had my password & e-mail set so it would "remember" them and sign in without having to fill everything out again (due to repetitive use of this, I had
forgotten my password linked to the Windows ID). When I select "continue" and confirm the auto-filled e-mail & blanked out password, I am then prompted with:
"Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to https://account.live.com for help. Code: 8015D003."
I used that link and turned up at the log-in page for Microsoft Accounts. I assume that I should have to adjust the "security proofs" or something similar to that after reading a few other threads.
The problem is, I have absolutely no way (to my knowledge at least) to recover my password, or get into the account again. The details, such as the security question, were made years ago and I cannot seem to remember them. I cannot:
- Use the security question, as I have forgotten it.
- Get e-mailed a "reset link" as I have forgotten the name of the e-mail I selected in reserve.
- Fill out the questionnaire as I continue to get denied due to the fact I can't remember enough details in order to prove the account is mine.
- Get my password e-mailed to the ID's account as I cannot remember the password to it.
- Use the "phone" or "text" method of getting a code as I don't think my account wasn't set up with one.
So, what I am really asking here is:
Are there any other alternate methods in which I can use to get into my Window's ID long enough to change the password & the e-mail to one that I use currently?
Inform me if not.
Thanks for any help & responses.
Note: The Windows ID I am using now is linked to a silver membership account that I don't use anymore.
Cheers.
Hi Team,
I am very fed up now seeing this message repeatedly. " It seems like someone else using your account" Team please take a note that i have tried filling up the information as per my sent box in the form several times.
The most interesting thing is when i click on I cant access my account then it does not give me options to retrieve my account accept for clicking on the option I dont have access to any one of these.
Now, i have filled up the form 24 hours ago and was supposed to receive update from Microsoft about the retrieval but did not receive any update. Therefore i request you to kindly step in further and help me get my email account access back.

Suddenly today Aug 6, 2013, we no longer have access to my wife's hotmail account which she has had for years. We have attempted to pass validation via the automated system, but because it was created so many years ago, she is not sure about the EXACT
answer to the security question. We have tried several times, but now have been locked out from trying again for at least 24 hours. Is there a human with whom we can discuss this matter as I am sure she is close on the questions etc. She needs access, and
has no idea what has happened. Her account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
My sister is having problems with her Microsoft account. Her account "does not exist". When she tried, signing into her account she ws notifyed to by microsoft that it seemd that someone was trying to get into her account. She had to fill out some security
questions to enter. When she entered her account, she was redirected to a microsoft accounts page to change her main alias. When the she changed it she realized that her account is registered in important pages such as the SAT, TOEFL, etc, and therefore these
could not contact her through her your old account,. She received an email to another account to confirm the change of alias, she clicked to cancel, and the account closed. It no longer exists, neither the alias nor the main account. She spent many years with
this account and contains extremely necessary information that she needs to recover, not so much contacts as such, but information about accounts linked with this email.
I appreciate the help in advance,
I tried to look at my when my Xbox live expire . Then this popped up . For security measure, you have been redirected to this page. Please contact customer support services. Its been happening for a week or so .
