Outlook web page not found & Sign in problems

Since yesterday morning cannot load Outlook.com web page.
Tried different browsers & different computers including mobile devices.
However, since today morning could load the web page but could not sign in(could sign in only once), so suspecting a hack, re-set password &
still cannot sign in. 
At sign in, with user name & password,just just get the error message 'web page not found' try later.

Surprisingly, email is being pushed on my mobile phone, though late by some hours.
Contacted wired broadband service provider & on 'ping test' the outlook.com server is constantly 'timed out'
If there is maintenance going on in India, then some Alerts should be posted on Social Networks regarding downtime.

Hotmail account temporary blocked and my alternative email address has expired.

 How am I supposed to unblock my account?  My hotmail account is temporarily blocked and I tried recovering which requires me to log in on my alternative address but my alternative email address  is expired.I don't have a security code and every time I fill in the form it gets sent back saying not enough information provided so I am stuck can anyone help me please  Thanks!

HI there, I am locked out of my hotmail account, and have been denyed access after filling in the account recovery form twice. i have tried filling it in a third time and havent heard back (over 24hrs ago). They have now said that i have to set up a new account, but i really need access to this account, i have organised my whole wedding using this account and have all my suppliers and contacts, invoices etc with this email address. PLease help!

When I send an email from an alias the sender can only reply to primary. How do I set it up so that they reply to alias?

I have an outlook account that I'd like to use as personal and professional.  Let's say my primary is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but I have an alias of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  If I send an email as *** Email address is removed for privacy *** the sender receives it but when they reply it goes to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  I'd like the mail I send from each alias to be returned to each respective alias.  Any help?

Hi, 

I have a live account with my personal email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), now i have set up my email according to http://schoudhury.com/blog/articles/email-address-with-your-own-domain-using-outlook-com/ in order to use outlook.com for my mails(instead of gmail)

I can log in to the outlook.com website with my email address(*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). 

I can not log in to this account via thundrebird(or windows live mail client). It seems *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which i use as live account is only an alias. 

Question:
Where do i find the "main" name (@outlook.com or @llive.com) which can be used in thunderbird? I dont know this address, and i can't find it on outlook.com settings page. 

exclamation mark in sent mail folder

Looking at my sent mail folder, I notice there is an exclamation mark by one message. What does this mean?

Some messages have a paper clip, which is obviously an attachment.

 

But I don't know what the exclamation mark is..............

Email account hacked and recovery denied, hacker requested money and over usd 5000 lost

My email account was hacked on 18th July. The hacker sent requests to contacts for money
Reported the problem to windows support right away but to no avail, filled the online for 8 times but kept getting emails back that the account can't be recovered
The hacker kept corresponding with some friends and pleading for money and in good faith 2 friends sent him money, we have filed complaints with the police and cyber crime
However no support from hotmail, instead they have perpetrated the crime as the haver had easy access to the account and continued using it
Have a gmail account that was so easy to recover however hotmail is really bad, no person to talk to
Called up customer support for 45 mins last night to no avail
Attest the account should have been blocked as soon as this was reported to hotmail so the hacker wouldn't have been able to correspond further with friends and contacts 
Very disappointing service support from microsoft

Please advise options
