Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm it.
- Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments, then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them, and your inbox will be much smaller.
- Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hotmail account to immediately delete junk e-mails? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
- Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.

Hi - it started when my mail account on windows live mail was not syncing. I had forgotten my password so I changed it via outllok and then removed account from windows live mail and re-added it. But it would not sync...just said wait a few mins. I
began to read emails via oputlook and then noticed that when I tried to reply to an email it said "!We've noticed some unusual activity in your Outlook account. To help protect you and everyone else, we've temporarily blocked
your account." I verified my account via pin ok and can access my email but it still will not allow me to send from the account. Help !

I'm trying to create a new hotmail account, but every email address I type in (where it asks what email address I wont), it just keeps saying email address unavailable. I must have tried over 30 email addresses now, all different kinds, i.e. ending in
'hotmail' or 'outlook', or putting in loads of random numbers, etc., but it still wont let me have any. It doesn't even give me any suggestions, like I remember it used to.
