I cannot access my email account. It's been linked with my main account since hotmail introduced account linking when Outlook discontinued this function I tried to sign-in and was blocked.
I've tried using the account recovery request and resetting the password but still haven't been able to sign-in. I can provide further details about emails received/sent in direct message to verify my account.
I just received this message saying that this email has failed our fraud detection test and i clicked on the document and now im very worried is there any steps I should take and can they get hold of my bank details etc
why can't i STAY signed into my account? tired of always having to sign in to access my mail.
This happened while I was creating a new different outlook account.
Everyone knows the new email account creation process in outlook, first name, last name...., then the place for your id. Normally its someone@outlook/hotmail/live.com, but this time I could enter any name I want, like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, then I filled out other parts of the form and submitted. I thought it would give some kind of error, but my account is created and redirects to Microsoft account setting page before loading the mail page. The page says:
Call us overprotective, but we need to verify that *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is yours
Before you can continue, you need to check your inbox for a message from the Microsoft account team. Follow the instructions in the mail to finish setting up your account.
Resend email.
So, now I try to open the mail, another Hotmail/outlook.com or mail.live.com and I enter *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (previously created) and its password, well it logs in but with same error.
So my question is how do I verify my email (above as said created) when I cannot open my email page. Every time I try to login, I get the same page and there is no going beyond. I can rename my alias and open the mail, but cant login using *** Email address is removed for privacy *** address anymore it says the address doesn't exist (when before renaming I could well login with it), I have to use the renamed address to login. Now when I again try to rename, well I can, to same *** Email address is removed for privacy *** , but with same overprotective page.
When i login to my Outlook.com email it says “we are updating your inbox” been like this for a week.
When I login to my Outlook.com email account I can see my Calendar and Contacts, but the Inbox is not accessible, it says try again later, WE ARE UPDATING YOUR INBOX. This started when I changed my primary alias last week and still isn't working.

Here is my problem i have my hotmail and i lost it four to five years ago so i just made another but now it seems i have to get things from it.
My problem stems from one thing my recovery email is an old Optus one my family can't access anymore and every recovery email i could send it bounced back as i of course after five years cannot remember the last things i sent.
Is there anyway of getting into contact with someone so i can solve this issue thanks
When I try to verify my new computer as trusted. The code is being sent to my primary account, which at the time I set up Hotmail was my alternate email address. No email is coming through. The only alternative I'm offered is that email address or "I no longer have these," I don't see where to enter either a mobile number to receive a text, or an alternative address.
I have access to my account and am receiving all other mail, haven't been hacked or locked out and am on a new computer using Windows 8.

I have added my Gmail to Outlook.com, so I can send on "behalf of", and copied all my old Gmails through Windows Live Mail.
But now, all my old mails from Gmail are marked with a yellow sign in which I have to click on trusted sender to see pictures in mails.
Can I remove this sign in any way, so I can see photos in my old Gmails?
