I am receiving a VERY limited number of emails to my hotmail account & they seem to be getting less & less by the day.  The only emails I seem to receive are those that are replying to an email I've sent, not new emails, & even them I'm not receiving them all.  I am able to send emails.  This has been going on for 4 days.  I rely on my email work & need it fixed ASAP.  I have read all the other threads & have tried everything suggested in them - checking junk folder, blocked senders list, checking forwarding settings etc. but nothing works.

Please help!!!
I tried the steps shown on here on to correct issue however the problem Still Persist...Please Help

I have noticed that when you update windows live mail if you have deleted or read or moved an email in outlook.com it will then show this in windows live mail but if I do the same with emails in windows live mail it wont transfer these changes to my outlook.com account

can anyone help?

Thanks

The SkyDrive in my system tray keeps spinning. It says "SkyDrive - Processing Changes". It keeps doing this.

When I open my SkyDrive folder, I see my files. A few folders have a red "X" on them but I can see the contents fine.

The problem is that I believe SkyDrive is draining my battery quickly. Instead of 3 - 4 hours life, I'm only getting 1 hour of battery.

What can I do to make SkyDrive happy so it won't keep processing changes?

My Skydrive account still lists my PC as linked, but when I start the software it acts like I'm starting it for the first time and wants me to configure it.  None of my files are syncing.

I DO NOT want to sync my 80 GB of data again.  I want to re-establish the existing link.  I do not know what happened to cause this, it's worked fine for the last year.

How can I fix it?  (Windows 7 x64 SP1)

Thanks,

Tony

I was asked to sign up for oiutlook in order to get a calendar from my sons high school.  I thought I was just adding a calendar.  I have since found that I no longer have hotmail....where is it????  I signed up with *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  My mail is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
I have most of my tax information in the folders on my hotmail account....that also includes all of my account passwords.....I need this information.
I prefer speaking on the phone with someone from Outlook.  I am not very computer literate and following instructions via e-mail is very confusing.  I feel Outlook created this problem so they should be able to walk me through fixing the problem.
I will provide a phone number via a private message.
Thanks
Don't know if I am too late asking this.  Obviously the first person didn't find your answer helpful.
I just got laptop with Windows 8 and loaded free 8.1 update.  Had not used Sky Drive.

Today while working with photo files was interrupted by (what I thought was a routine) Microsoft update so I clicked ok.  Did not realize it was for Sky Drive till it started downloading. Should have clicked cancel!  I do not intend to pay for Sky Drive after the 30 day trial in any case.

Now, when I try to access my folders/files in pictures there is a several second delay before they open.  Worse--the folders come up as "empty" until it is filled, presumably from the cloud.  I could accidentally delete an "empty" folder.

I am a very low tech user.  I back up my photo files on an external hard drive and various USB ports.  I feel that you tricked me into using the Sky Drive and I want my photos back on my hard drive!  How do I do this?

Note: I have split your post from this thread since your concern needs to be addressed separately.
All of my inbox messages suddenly went to the Delete folder.  Is there any filter or account options that caused this to happen?
