Please help,

I have a large collection of emails which contain teaching worksheets but since moving to 'Outlook.com' from Hotmail, the search never returns any results even when I specify a folder and knowing full well that there are emails with that title in that location.

Having read other posts from people who have the same issues I have tried to follow the advice given to them but have failed to solve the problem.

So far...

I have cleared the cache

Tested account on Google Chrome and Explorer

Tried different laptops and Ipad

Deleted over 4000 emails (and still tidying folders).

I think I may need the account 're-indexed' but I can't check if the account is 'indexed' as the web version doesn't have a 'file' option to select.

I'm all out of ideas now and is hoping someone can help as this account is becoming useless to me without the valuable 'search' option.

I need to secure sensitive emails to a safe place such as another external head drive,

  1. How do I copy my emails and forward them on to this hard drive.
  2. If I my MSN account was to be hacked, and the hackers behaviours caused all my mail to be erased will I be able to return all the emails back to its present from.

regards

I receive the following error message when accessing https://account.live.com/editprof.aspx:

We're unable to retrieve information for this section at this time. We're sorry for the inconvenience, please try again later.

I can't modify my personal info. Please help

This is long time issue and not yet resolved. Please don't give standard answer and check my account as this is account specific issue

Can you please change the Hotmail login picture as it gets on my nerves?

Kind regards Terence

I have a persistent problem with Windows Live Mail. It works OK for a while, but intermittently after send/receive, the send/receive dialogue box says "Not Connected" and WLM locks up. I have to restart the PC to get back onto email. I'm running Windows 7, Windows Live Essentials 2012 and IE 9.  Help?!
I need to verify my permission for my daughter's account, when I enter my credit card details it won't accept them because it's looking for a US address and I'm in Scotland! Help please?!
The names are not are not visible on the left side of the screen. what's the prob?
Think I'll drop Skydrive.  It seems to "get stuck" uploading a 20MB+ file.  The notification icon just sits at "processing".  It would be useful if this gave a little more information while handling particularly large files.
I fix this by closing the desktop (Skydrive) program, logging into Skydrive browser and dragging the file into the browser which provides a nice upload commentary and takes about 30mins.
Then I restart the desktop programme and -as expected - it says "up-to-date".

Thinking out loud...this is an email client (data) file.  I guess there's a possibility that it gets updated in a time which is LESS than the time it takes to upload it.  In this case, Skydrive would never catchup.  Is this a possible scenario?
I have 12 members in a group, yet some 30 are getting emails when i send to the group.  what's the prob?

I need to extract the embedded images in a email body and store it as an attachment into DB. When I see the mail content it has a <img> tag and starts with a src & cid followed by the Content-ID. But how to extract it and store as an attachment? I think i need to call outlook server to extract it. Someone please help me on this?
