I use Windows 8 with Windows Live Essentials (Windows Live Mail) and I have a Hotmail account. Currently I am unable to send or receive messages.
What I would like to know is if there is a Microsoft software that I can download to achieve the conversion to Outlook. Would there be a need to update my Internet Explorer 10 as well?
my account is temporary blocked, will this account be deleted eventually if i don't regain access?

Basically i tried changing or resetting my password, and they have changed my contact email and security question so that didnt work. Ive tried literally everything i dont know what to do anymore i need this email back i have very important things in there that cant be let out.

in Hotmail both my wifes name and my name appeared when log in. With outlook we have to log in separately and type it in. We can no longer click on our respective names to gain access to outlook. Why

I am trying to create a new email id on my custom domain in Windows Live Admin center. Email id is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, but I get an error "That account name is not allowed for use with this service".
Can anyone pls. look into this issue and assist me how to proceed further. I have tried to create this email id using different alternates like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as well, but was unsuccessful and got the same message. I was able to create other
email ids on this Domain but only this one cannot be created.

We're considering the option of migrating our mail service provider from gmail to outlook. However, after surfing in this community forum three questions come in to my mind:
- How could I add more accounts if It was necessary? If I needed 50 more accounts, would I have to pay for it?
- How could I increase the storage limits for each account and how much would I have to pay for? If I would need an 15GB extra, is it possible to pay more instead of going to office365?
- How could I configure distribution list? I would need special addresses for each department and redistribute these mails to each account within the department.

I keep receiving other peoples emails on my live.co..uk email address, some of them have confidential information . It looks like there is a security problem on outlook.com or they have issued duplicate email addresses
Has anyone else seen this and is there a way to get this problem fixed.
