My Microsoft Outlook is NOT working (and it is NOT the mobile)! Why???

Outlook (my Hotmail account) was down all day yesterday!   It finally came back up this morning.  I spent 2 hours typing up a response e-mail to someone...and when I went to hit SEND...the flipping system won't send and it says it's down AGAIN!   I can't get back in now and have no idea if I lost all of that work or not.   I'm so frustrated.   When will this be fixed and back up?  Seriously?  You guys are the experts...why are we having so many issues????

I access thre different e-mails from my computer. Two for work, one for home. I get the above message along with the dreaded red X telling me I can't continue in the frame. But, only one my home account. I use the same browser. It works fine on my home computers. It also worked fine until two days ago and has been for nearly a year.

Any ideas?

Signed in to Outlook account.  Get error message regarding "you might have issues syncing email to your mobile device."

I have never synced email to my mobile device.  I have been having this problem for the last 2 days.

 

What's going on with this?

Cannot reset password

Hi,

I am unable to login to my live account.  I entered the wrong password too many times and now I'm blocked from logging in.  

When I try to reset my password I receive a link in my email, when I follow the link I get this error message: "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later." I have tried this several times over the span of 24 hours and also had the link resent a few times.  

I believe this problem began when I tried to change the email address on my account a few months ago.  Evidently I did this wrong--I unwittingly added a new alias and then deleted the primary email on the account without replacing it with a working address.  Now my live login, as per xbox support staff, is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

My account appears to be in a gray area--the account still exists, but has no actual login and I can't reset the password for the ExRemoved email, and therefore cannot login to it.  What can I do??


Signing in failure

SkyDrive is stuck in the signing in stage. This issue has been coming and going.


I am running Windows 7, 64 bit.


The issue only appears on my work PC. I have talked with IT, they say that they are not doing anything to block SkyDrive.


I have tried to reconfigure my DNS to use OpenDNS, but our corporate policies does not allow an alternate DNS to be used. I have no problems signing into SkyDrive through the web browser, so I have a hard time believing that the issue is that the DNS cannot resolve an IP address.


I have added all the https addresses to the trusted site list:

  * https://login.live.com

  * https://secure.shared.live.com

  * https://account.live.com

  * https://secure.wlxrs.com

  * https://hipservice.live.com


Please let me know where I can send the log files for analysis.


DropBox is working fine, but I would prefer to use SkyDrive if possible.

can not acces inbox on computer

I keep getting the error message about the outlook having issues with syncing to a mobile divice. I am trying to get into my inbox on computer. I have more than one email. One of them I can acces and get into my inbox completly fine. But my private/family email I can not. I can sign in just fine but when I try to go to my inbox to check my email (It is important that I check it as I am waiting for replies from people) I get the error message. I don't even have the option to go to my inbox. HELP?

Someone has hacked my email account on *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and changed it to lrigs531@ live.com and sent out an email requesting mone be sent to the phillipines.  I surely like this to be stopped.  He erased all of my contacts and I cannot get many of them back.

I see others are experiencing similar issues. I use my Hotmail email every day. I upgraded to Outlook a few months ago. I logged on today and found all my emails and folders gone, including all of my contacts. Also I have been unable to receive email. I have a substantial amount of important information and documents that are missing now. I have read several similar threads and followed every instruction to attempt a recovery, but nothing worked. The only messages in my inbox today were Welcome to your New Outlook, and Getting Started with Hotmail.I did not manually delete my messages, I do not use any third party software to access my account, my account has not been inactive, I did not rename it, Conversation Threading is, and was already off, and I do not use Sweep. I use Firefox 22 as my browser, and I have never used a mobile device to access my accounts. When I tried to recover or restore deleted emails, it said there were none. Please help me out here. For many years I have supported Hotmail with a paid "Hotmail Plus" account, and I expect my data to be there when I need it. Thank you.

Hi

Since hotmail become outlook all is wrong, many errors, this is not a small company, so before making changes you should be sure about all you are making. I can´t see my contact´s emails when I got an email......Can´t open it even in my mobile, it supossed contact must be imported but they are not and this is making me wasting time.
I'm really mad about it, I have been waiting for you to fixing this problem and now is even worst so make something about it.......
