IT IS NOT FIXED.!!
Hi
I'm the IT coordinator in a private College and we need our IP address unblock so our students can create their Microsoft account in the next week.
Starting Sunday, August 18 'till Saturday August 31st, around 145 students, every day, will need to create their Microsoft Account.
Anyway to unlock our IP address for 30 days with unlimited creating rights.
Thanks
Daniel R
Please reference my prior discussion here:
In a nutshell, I have been experiencing issues with any apps that require my account login for a while since having to reinstall windows 8. I have tried both refresh, reset, and a complete reinstall from the disc. Even after all of this, I constantly have to enter my password to access my apps. I get a message that says something along the lines of "x app needs to confirm your identity." What I've noticed is that it does it after a set period of time, for whatever reason. At first, I thought it did this every time I restarted, but noticed that isn't necessarily the case. What also seems to cause issues is that I have my desktop (the pc in question) to present the lock screen after an idle period of about 15 minutes for basic security purposes (considering roommates, etc.). I notice that the apps (and my login for settings sync in general) log out fairly frequently after doing this, but not all the time. Note that my desktop does not get put into sleep mode and has hibernation disabled, so none of those are factors. In all, it is getting frustrating to have to log back into my account every day, multiple times per day, even after trusting my pc.
General things to note about my account are that I do have 2 factor authentication enabled and, as I mentioned before, I have 1 pc connected to my account. I recently removed all trusted devices, reset my password and re-added my pc again in order to see if that stopped the problem. None of this did. I also tried toggling 2 factor authentication on and off with no success. I would really like an idea of what is going on or a way to potentially fix it. Not locking my pc is not an option and I'd really like to stick with Windows 8 instead of having to downgrade. To be honest, this is the first real trouble I've had the entire time with Windows 8, but it seems like the account integration functions are a bit buggy, at least for me.
It keeps saying there is no microsoft account attached to the email that I think I used.
I forgot what email I used when creating the gamertag.
How can I recover the gamertag and reset the email that is attached and remove the gamertag to the email I want to use?
