How do I fix it so when I send e-mail from my free Hotmail account the recipient can send a reply by entering "reply" instead of having to address my e-mail? Currently when they hit reply they get a message saying not a valid account.
when I sign into outlook to check my mail, after about 10 seconds I am transferred to Skype sign in....never used Skype, didn't sign up, don't want it! Now I can't check email..why does this happen...how can I make it stop...I am essentially computer-illiterate....help!
On August 15 I received connection errors on both my PC which is running Outlook 2013 and my Windows 8 phone and was unable to send or receive mail from my Hotmail.com address. I logged in via IE to Outlook.com and there was a notice page stating that
they were having server issues and were working to restore ASAP. The next day I was able to connect for a very short amount of time until 7:30 AM EDT and then not again ever since. I am now able to access mail only via IE and still get a Unable to Connect
error from both Outlook 2013 and my phone. PLEASE HELP!!! I also have another account that is a live.com account and have not had any issues with it.
I can not access my email on my iPad anymore. It says can not connect to server. I can access it if I go online but not through my mail application. I've tried deleting that email account and re adding it but to no avail, I can not get my emails only on my iPad . What is the problem?

My outlook.com account was one of the many affected by the recent service disruption. I noticed this morning that I am not receiving any new mail on my iphone syching with my outlook.com account (its been two days for me with no mobile email). I've tried
rebooting my phone, restarting the mail app, deleting and re-adding my account in the mail app settings, etc. Nothing has worked. My account validates and I get my folder list and other data, but my inbox is not synching. I went into the sent-mail folder
and it did grab some of those messages, but no matter what I do it will not sync the inbox. Its just stuck on "checking for mail" and the spinner goes nuts in the status bar, but it never finishes or gets anywhere. The system status page shows no problems
for my account, but clearly there are still problems. Looking in the community here, I'm not the only one still having these problems. When I logon to my mailbox through a web browser all my mail is there, but I'm just not getting anything on my phone.
Hotmail was working fine until three days ago. Now I can't get emails via my high speedvinternetvserver with the phone company. Any answers?
When I click on my Hotmail account on my IPhone 5 I get a message that says, "Cannot get mail" "The connection to the server failed."
i cannot access my hotmail account from my iphone. this is the 4th day of this issue. Outlook (online) says that the problem is solved and that everything is normal but that is not accurate.
This is going on day 3. All issues are said to be resolved. I have deleted my email account numerous times and entered information using both Exchange and Hotmail options. I have cleared caches and restarted phone. I have most current ios. I get an empty
inbox and spinning wheel that will eventually tell me that the connection to Outlook has failed.
