I had this same issue as well. I deleted it because I was trying to set up a forwarder to another address within the same domain. That did not work, so I tried to set up an 'alias'. That did not work either. So, I deleted the email account and now
I can't recreate it.

I havent accessed my account for few months and when I logged into this morning, I found that all emails since 1998 have gone.
I have read some of these forums and am getting mixed messages as to the reasons why this happened.
Can you please let me know what i can do, I had lot of important emails in there and need them back

While on Xbox Live the other day it said I needed to verify my Microsoft account. I went over to verify on my computer and clicked it to send the verification code email to an email I still have access to. The email never arrived after multiple attempts
and multiple days of waiting. I have checked the spam folder as well and have not found any emails.
After trying this option, I tried the option saying "I don't have a code" and tried to fill out the form. The email I used for my account was only created so I could have a Microsoft account. This means that I never sent any email or created folders. I
also never had a credit card attached to the account so I didn't have that information. I entered all my personal information and the answer to my security question, but apparently this wasn't enough to establish ownership. I tried multiple times and it never
worked. I even did this on a computer that I had previously logged in to my Microsoft account on.
It's been over 5 days and I have tried multiple options, including the Microsoft support chat room, xbox live customer support and emailing someone from Microsoft support. No one seems to understand that I have tried all of these options and tells me to
simply reset my password. Trust me, I have already done that. Thanks for the help in advance, I just want to get back on my xbox :p
sms & FB IM's getting deleted automatically, and when i reset my phone, 90% of messages are restored but yet again within few weeks all SMSs & FB IMs get deleted!!!!
PS: Text msg Backup is always turned ON, on my Lumia920 .

I've used the Google Authenticator app to set up two-step verification for my Outlook.com email account. Everything works fine. However, I'm wondering what I will do if I ever lose my phone. Pretty much every other service that uses two-step verification
provides a backup code during enrollment which can be used in case of a lost phone or other emergency. Does Microsoft offer this? If not, what is the contingency plan in case of a lost phone or lack of access to the authentication app?
