I keep getting an error-please help
So, I've had a hotmail account for the past ten years. I've never had any security problems, and not once in all the ten years have I ever changed the password. Now, with this new "update", I was required to add either an alternate email, or a phone number
while it replaced an archaic email of mine that I've both forgotten the username and password to. I figure, why not, I use my hotmail often enough. So I give it my cell number for the time being until I can get around to adding in another email. Eventually,
the time comes when I go to get rid of my cell number, and put in another email, only now, it's telling me that I have to wait roughly a MONTH before the information that I entered before (my cell phone number) is PROCESSED. Even though Hotmail is now sending
me text messages for every little thing. I also cannot cancel these updates, as it will require confirmation from my old email to save.
Is there any way to delete the phone number and put in an email for the time being? I fully plan on switching any and all accounts linked to hotmail to gmail, as this is just plain ridiculous.
Oh, and I'd also like to ask why the billing function is also blocked, due to the "update"? It's completely irrelevant to my backup-contact info.
It should not take a month to process data like this.
For the past month, I've been using the draft option on Outlook.com to write an ongoing list to myself, periodically saving the draft. I put my own Outlook address in the "To" form, so it would send to myself should I accidentally hit "send". Until today,
there was no problem, the draft was always in the Drafts folder ready to be edited. I last edited this draft on 8/19, and went to check on it tonight, 8/20, and it is gone. All of the other drafts that should be there are there, but this one draft is gone,
and is not in the deleted, sent, or Inbox folders. I have tried the recover deleted messages tool, but that did not help. As of right now, it seems that the draft has vanished without a trace, as if it was never written. Any help would be appreciated.
I had an old Hotmail account back in 2007. I haven't accessed since then. Is it possible to get access to it?

Having problems with Windows Movie Maker, videos I'm working on, after a period of time suddenly go "corrupt" and I get error message "0xC946002C" what is causing this and how to fix. Not all videos do it, but they all come from the same device which

I accidentally changed the "pictures" library location to be on SkyDrive. Now I've decided I don't want it there and I'd like to move it back to "C:\Users\(Username)\Pictures" however it says it can't because there's a folder with the same name that can't
be redirected. I have a feeling there's a "Pictures" folder that's on SkyDrive that can't be moved and is used as the location for automatically uploading pictures etc. It's not thinking I'm trying to move that folder off of SkyDrive. I don't want to do that.
It can stay there. I just want to make it so that the "Pictures" library for my PC isn't "C:\Users\(Username)\SkyDrive\Pictures. The same thing happens to the Documents folder (originally I had stored all my profile folders on SkyDrive before Microsoft decided
to make it a lot easier, but it's not letting me undo what I had previously done. Is there a registry key I can modify maybe?
EDIT: To be more specific, the location of "This PC > Pictures" in the SkyDrive app (or in Windows Explorer too I guess) is "C:\Users\(user)\SkyDrive\Pictures". I'd like to remove the "skydrive" portion, but it won't let me. Same with "Documents". Everything
else is fine.

when i singed in and tried to unlock it, i have to write my phone number in order to receive a security code or smthing.
the problem is that the country list stops at Namibia.
i am from Romania...so please, help me, and please tell me why did you block my account!

I receive a lot of junk mail and the more i seem to unsubscribe from these senders, the more i get. I also find that almost on a daily basis, my Hotmail account automatically send junk mail to people on my mailing list, including me. is there a way i could
get this to stop?
