I have had the same thing happen! I can access my email through msn website but cannot work directly in outlook...HELP!!

See title.I used to add large res images to my emails . Then have a choice to make them smaller. The button to left of screen has disappeared. Can I still do this? And how?
I have changed my primary account aliases on my Hotmail account to @outlook.com. However after a number of hours I still could not access my emails and continually received the message:
We're updating your inbox
Please wait a few minutes and then try again.
I urgently had to access my emails so switched my primary aliases back, however I still unable to access my emails.
I have tried using other computers, etc but have had not success.
As a side effect of this I am also unable to access my emails on my phone and have lost all my contacts.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have two Hotmail/ Outlook accounts I am trying to close/ delete but Microsoft is making it so hard to do so and I don't understand why?
Why would Microsoft not won't people to be able to close/ delete accounts?
1) The first account is a Hotmail account and when I try to close/ delete it, it tells me to remove all subscriptions? I DON'T/ HAVE NEVER HAD ANY SUBSCRIPTIONS WTF?
2) The second is an Outlook email account (Microsoft using the 'Outlook' name for two separate products is very bad/ confusing) and when I try to close/ delete the account it states 'Our server is having a problem. We are working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again later' but it has said that for nearly TWO WEEKS.
Now I wouldn't be so p*ssed off if Microsoft had a proper email/ live chat/ phone customer service in which people could get actual one-to-one help.
Someone failed at hacking my other Microsoft account and now there is a failed password attempt and I can't get on my account or change the password
Can Someone tell me how long I have to wait?
I keep getting junk mail delivered to my inbox even though my filter is set to exclusive. This started about two days ago. The senders sometimes have hotmail.com or msn.com but not always. I didn't change any settings on my account and I believe that I'm
not the only one with this problem. I already went through my approved senders list and deleted any unwanted ones. However, for each address I block, 10 new ones will be created. Please fix this bug promptly because I don't want penis enlargement or **** ads
in my inbox. I understand that I have to keep checking my junk folder for any emails I want and have had no problem doing this frequently. Thanks.
I want to change my email address as it contains my last name and I've just got married. Is there anyway I can chage it while still recieving emails from my old email address as this is main email address?
I have had this same email account for 20 years and use it for business. It appears my email was hacked. I did the appropriate steps and answered all security questions, a code was sent to my mobile phone and then I was able to reset my password. But I still get this error message:

We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 9/7/2013, we'll delete your old security info:

I USE THIS ACCOUNT FOR BUSINESS AND CANNOT BE LOCKED OUT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 7TH. I answered every single security question accurately. I do not understand why it is locking me out still.
I've also spoken with 3 different Microsoft reps and they have not given me any assistance. I have never in my life experienced such an issue. I've had my email hacked and I simply had to reset my password. To not have access to my email for 2 weeks
is unacceptable.
I'm not sure how this forum notifies me if my email account is not working. Another email is:
