I have no problem accessing my email account but when I click on my inbox or any message in my inbox it is greyed out and will not open. I can go to reply and read my mail but am limited to just reading it which is senseless. my junk mail folder
works the same way. II am using Win 7,Silverlight and the current Internet Explorer. My mail account used to work until It changed to Outlook.
My account accidentally got deleted so I tried to set it up again. however, when i entered the old email i used it said that it isn't available. I then went to try to login on the same account and it say's the account doesn't exist?
My exclusive junk filter has stopped working as well. Junk emails are getting through to my inbox and Outlook is incorrectly telling me they are in my contacts list. Please help! Very frustrating.

I am helping a family member with some hotmail issues they are having. We seem to be at a loss as to why they are currently receiving in excess of 100 spam emails per day. This has only occurred since a seemingly random browser crash late last week during
their use of hotmail. When they restarted IE, they were prompted to sign back into their account which is not usual (passwords are usually saved in the browser cookies) and were shown a screen which insisted that they agree to allowing suggested contacts -
this rings alarm bells with me as I cannot imagine MS would insist on this.
So far, we have done the following:
- reset the spam filter to Standard (it was on Exclusive) - this had no effect
- reset the spam filter to Exclusive to attempt a 'forced' resetting back to just safe senders - this had no effect
- manually edited their whole safe senders list, deleting any email that was not currently in their regular contacts - this had no effect
- manually blocked every spam email address (and then blocked them again from the junk folder) - this makes little difference as each new email is subtly different, but it is advised on other posts.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I made my gamer tag, jefFREYpwnz3rz, and Microsoft account several years ago. It was never required for me to enter in an email and password for this account until recently and now I can't sign in to Xbox live. The email I used back then is not active
and I do not remember the password since it was so long ago. I have tried multiple times to reset my password by having the reset link sent to my current email address, but this does not work. It continues to send it to the bad email address instead. How
can I change my Microsoft account so I can actually access it?

I need to burn my email files onto a disc....any help would be appreciated
I have tried on two different laptops to burn a DVD and get the same results. .
The DVD goes through encoding and then proceeds to burn. It completes burning, but when I take the DVD out and look at it, nothing has burned on the DVD. Please help!
