Hi, I have the same problem as this thread:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/mail-email/lost-emails-after-switching-from-hotmail-to/87358e5b-789a-43a6-b50a-fea59db85b43

The solution given is to post your own thread, which is what I'm doing here.

My emails from prior to ~2001 have disappeared and the recovery steps do not bring them back.

Please help!

Thanks,

Ben

I just purchased the software for about $99.  I thought I was buying 5 license.  Now I am afraid I've bought some sort of yearly subscription, which I do not want.  I could have gone to Sam's Club and bought one that was a one-time fee.  What should I do?

And, my HP Lazer Jet P1006 will not work with this.  I am very upset.

Hi I just got a windows phone and created an account.  Problem is when inserting DOB I put in the date I received the phone (yesterday). So now I can't access anything without parental consent and don't even know how I can do this.

I created another account, but the phone always access the original account. So no apps for me

Any suggestions?

Thanks! Jake

SkyDrive says two of my files are too big to upload.  That's fine, no big deal, but I keep getting the red-x saying I need to reduce the file size for the upload.  How do I turn it off from continuing to try to upload those files, and giving me the error message?

My sky drive keeps crashing randomly, there is no error shown it just stops working.

I've tried completely uninstalling a nd reinstalling the new version, done this a number of times but with no luck.
Is Outlook mail down? It takes quite a while for the email to open but no action when clicking on any one mail; keeps displayin "waiting for javascript" at the left on the taskbar. I also could not log out without closing the page.

Our company is using Outlook.com with our own custom domain, set up with the appropriate MX records on our web host. My colleague occasionally has trouble sending me e-mails, usually a reply or forward. They will come back to him with a bounce message.

However, today he forwarded me a message. As far as he could tell, the message sent OK, with no error message being returned to him. I never received the e-mail, not in my Inbox or Junk Mail folders.

I reviewed the article "I'm not receiving emails sent by my family or friends". Of its suggestions, the only one not in place already was adding my colleague to my contact list. However, it should not be necessary to have someone in my contact list in order to receive an e-mail from them, in the junk mail at the very least.

This is a serious issue, as we cannot operate with e-mails not being delivered without warning.

I have been trying for 2 days now to get my son's account setup through family safety. When my son logs in, it say "Account no ready" and tells him he needs to go to family safety settings and get parents permission. It asks me to sign in which I do and then asks if I want to let my child use the Microsoft Account. I say yes and it wants to change my credit card. I give the info and it says "There's a temporary problem, try later". How do I get around this. I can't even access his profile to change his age.
