Hi everyone! 
I'm desperately in need of some help with my windows 8 mail app. Mine is a Sony Vaio and I've just bought it a few days ago. At first I synced my gmail account to windows mail and it was working okay, but then some problems with sending mails started to appear more and more often so I removed my gmail account in order to 'refresh' the app. However, after removing the account my windows mail isn't even opening anymore. Whenever I click on the app, it loads for a while and then the screen below appears:

 
So it's basically the mail app itself with nothing inside! I've tried to click every button but nothing worked. I've restarted/shutdown but it didn't work either. So I tried to recover the whole computer without affecting my files, but then the system said 'There was a problem recovering... No changes made' or something. 
So does anyone have any idea how to fix this? The mail app is the one I use most on my laptop so it's really frustrating that it stopped working out of nowhere!

My contacts have no pictures and I can’t addem to messenger or skype.

My contacts don't show pictures and I can't add them to messenger or Skype when I try to do it ,  It says the page has technical difficulties.  When I sign in to Skype with my Microsoft account shows no contacts at all.  I have also tried to sign in to different messenger sites and it shows that I have no contacts.  I have tried everything restoring contacts adding to messenger nothing seems to work.  I would really appreciate if you could help.

Why is my hotmail account pulling in all my email messages from another provider?

Cannot open attachment in emails.

I have an msn.com email account.

I was switched to ie10 and Outlook several months ago. At first there were no problems with opening any attachments to emails sent to me.

But, a few weeks ago any attachments have an x box at the top of the attachments and I cannot open the photo or article.

For some emails if I forward the message to a Comcast email account the attachment will open, but for others it will still not open.

I have the latest version of Microsoft Silverlight and it is enabled.

This problem occurs whether I access my MSN mail through my desktop, laptop or iPad computers.

I am using Windows 7 on my desktop and laptop.

This has all become very frustrating and I'm about ready to change my main email account away from Microsoft.

I am at the point that I will never purchase a Microsoft product again.

I am unable to log into my hotmail account.  I added a secondary email and i receive the following error - You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

 

How can I log on to change the primary email address

Why cant I use the links contained in the emails I receive? Popup box states, "Windows cannot access the specific device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item." Everything else seems to be working ok. My aol email account works just fine. If it was my pc wouldn't the same be true for my other email account? I dropped yahoo because of id and password problems, I'ld really hate to drop live.com. This is my pc and I'm the administrator. I'm running automatic updates so everything should be current.

This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.

Hello,

On domains.live.com, when I want to use "custom domain" on the domain www.paoli.tf, I am returned the famous error "This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case."

It is due to the "tf" TLD? (description here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.tf). Would it be possible to solve this?

Windows Movie Maker

I'm using a Windows 7 machine trying to create a  video in Windows Live Movie Maker 2011. I have working gifs that are saved to my computer, but when I import them they are just still images. Any idea how to make them move? All of the help I've found online is for the old version where you have the timeline at the bottom.

creating new email by right clicking outlook icon on taskbar

I just received the upgrade to windows 7 and I can no longer right click the outlook icon on the taskbar and create new email.  Now I have to open outlook and go click new email.  does anyone know what setting I need to turn on or off to do this again?
