Our personal email accounts, which we have used for years, are through a domain name from Melbourne IT.  (dorlac.net)  We sign in to use this email account through Hotmail, now Outlook, and have done so for about ten years.  Starting on 10/31, we can send emails without difficulty, but receive no emails.  This is not a problem with junk mailboxes or filters, and it appears I am not alone in this problem.  If anyone can help me figure out how to fix this it would be incredibly helpful.  I am not particularly IT savvy, but I can follow instructions.

I am trying to add my calendar into iCal on my Macbook and its asking me a server address and i can't find this any where ?

Anyone know what this is and where it can be found.

My SkyDrive isn’t working correctly on my PC.

After installing the Windows 8.1 Update, I've had a few problems using SkyDrive on my computer. Whenever I use the SkyDrive app it only displays the text "This location can't be found. Please try again later." Whenever I access SkyDrive from the Desktop it shows my folders, but clicking on the folders themselves shows them to be empty. However, If I access SkyDrive using my iPhone app, or if I use skydrive.live.com, everything is normal and I can see my files. Please, how do I fix this?

My Outlook E-mails are not downloading automatically. I have to hit ‘Send/Receive’ to download all E-mails. What is/are the setting(s) I am missing?

Re-link photo gallery database with new file location

Hi,

I was storing all my photo on a NAS which failed. The hard drive was fine so I have recovered the photographs and copied them on to a new NAS. While PG can rebuild the database based on the information stored in the metadata there are still bits that were only stored in the database. I have 13,000 photos so don't want to lose all this info I added to them.

How can 'tell' the old database where the new files are located?

I have not been able to recieve emails to this account since Oct 30.  I can send emails, but cannot recieve any.  I do not have any special rules or filters.  Please help, this is an emergency.  You may send private message to me via my work email.  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

My Skydrive is no longer synicing on my windows 8.1 laptop. The skydive icon in the windows explorer instead shows a small triangle with an exclamation mark.

Hello,

 

If anyone can help me I'd be extremely grateful.  I cannot believe how incredibly difficult it is to get help through Microsoft.  All I have been trying to do is find out why my hotmail account disappeared and if I can have it reactivated.  They keep running me in circles telling me to login and that's the problem to begin with.....I can't login to my old account because it doesn't seem to exist anymore.  So I had to creat a new account to post this question.  Bascially I stopped using my hotmail account for a couple of years and have recently wanted to gain access again because there are some important contacts I need to find however when I login with my old email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** it doesn't recognize it and my old passoword doesn't work.  Does Hotmail even exist anymore?  Is there a way to speak with someone live on this?  Does anyone know if an old account can be reactivated?  Would appreciate any help, thank you!
