I have two different windows 8 machines that I use on a regular basis. Since I move back and forth between them frequently, I often edit the same office file on both systems. I recently began using SkyDrive and all relevant files are located in my skydrive folder. SkyDrive is set to run on startup and use Office to speed synchronization.

Several times now, I have edited a file extensively on one machine. When I go to open the file on the other, I see dozens of files such as
~$filename(1)
~$filename(2)
...
~$filename(72)

I also have a "filename" file, but it is out-of-date and does not contain my edits.

If I visit the skydrive website, I only see the single, correct, updated file.

What do I need to do to fix this frankly terrible behavior?

System information:
Office 365
Windows 8 Professional x64 (running on a Surface Pro and a custom desktop)
Skydrive
All windows updates are installed

It appears that my password and security question have been changed.   Because the security question has been changed, I cannot re-set the password.    I have been working on this for days.   I just keep getting sent round and round in circles.   Every time that I call, I get referred back to this website.
Why Outlook.com application on Google Play with version 7.8.2.11.48.4848 is not setting "in-reply-to" and "references" fields of message header when I replied a message via the application?

Is there any other header filed to identify parent messages of mail thread?

Thanks.

hi, ive been using my Hotmail account all day... but I fear my son may have deleted it when removing my user account from his laptop{windows 8} as now when I try to access my account I get the message The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist.
I just stupidly deleted my Hotmail account......    ahhhhhhhhhhh   how can I recover it as all my business stuff is on there
I understand when Hotmail migrated to Outlook, a lot of peoples' contacts were erased, mine included. I've combed through the other discussion threads and followed all the Microsoft instructions to no avail.

So my question is, how can I add my "quick contacts" (I'm not sure that's what it's called) to my official contact/people list? I think Hotmail used to allow you to easily save a contact from a sender to your contact list.
I have recently tried to book a holiday via a lettings site but my emails were being intercepted by a 3rd party who told me that the holiday had been reserved for me, and gave me an account to transfer the money into.

The holiday company feel that the problem is with my email account.

I have contacted Norton but they say it is a problem that Outlook need to sort.

Does this mean that someone is able to see everything I type including bank account details, and how do I sort this.

Please help
For some reason, my deleted  and sent files were erased on this PC. On the other computers - same account - these files are intact
