Hello . several days ago I posted here on this community a problem I have concerning my email. Starts off like this .. I opened outlook and it would not accept my password so I changed it using the security question , however it opened in a different email address with a different username ...I did get a private response that stated I needed to give the original email (that I have always used) and the new one Did this .. but I have not heard back ?   Questions ... when a response comes to me via private message do I need to be at the computer..   2... Would I be better off  paying for my email so I can recover information within my old email address ... Please help  ...I'm going bonkers...............Please....

I have wasted 5-6 hours today trying to activate my daughters Windows 8 phone so that she can add new apps.

When I try to download an app on the phone it tells me that I must provide adult verification by logging in using an adult account, but all day when I get to the 'Verify that you are an adult' page, it reports the following error:

Verify that you're an adult

When you verify your age with a credit card, Microsoft charges the card a one-time fee of $0.50 (50 cents), and a portion of the fee is donated to charity.

This is ludicrous, I just want my daughter to be able to use her phone safely, and a giant such as Microsoft is unable to provide a service reliable enough to handle the age verification process.

I could just lie about my daughters age, create a new Live account and get her full phone access, but this is hardly the point!!

Can someone tell me what is going on or have I just thrown money down the drain buying a Windows 8 phone?
I am tired of the constant "Some content from wherever.com has been blocked. Click here to enable it." pop-ups when my children are using the computer with their own accounts protected by Microsoft Family Safety. Some initial research has shown that disabling these pop-ups is not a feature of WFS, but it has been suggested that we, as users of the product, request the feature.

However, I can't find the Windows 8 Family Safety Feedback page to submit this request. Can someone point me to it?

I am unable to access the Outlook emails for the account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. This account was initially created as a kid account associated with my main email account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as the parent. I get the following message below anytime I try accessing outlook for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Your account is not ready
It looks like your parent hasn't finished setting up the Family Safety settings for your account. Click "Go to Family Safety settings" to finish the process and get into your account.

I have remove the associated from my mail email account but I still can't access the emails for the Kid account. Please help me outlook email for *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account a rmake it a egular email account without any permissions from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Thanks,

Emmanuel

Hi All,

I was adding and removing alias for my outlook account (aka hotmail) and I had my primary email as alias, which for some reason I decided to delete. I didn't think that deleting alias will actually delete my primary email account. Now when I try to sign in, it says the account doesn't exist. Is there any way I can get back my account? Thanks in advance.

I recently had to re-set my Hotmail account on both my iphone and ipad.  After the re-set neither device is able to access my Hotmail folders or search mail history on the server.  (making me not so mobile, Microsoft!!)

I see this when I access to my personal profile:

I contacted Windows Live support but they gave me this reply:

Hello,

We have received a recent request to reactivate your account, however, when we checked we noticed that your account does not appear to be closed. We have also reexamined the content and have determined that the files are not in violation of the Microsoft COC or TOU. If you are still unable to access the account there may be a technical issue with it. You can contact the technical support team at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us

I have no problem with signing in Skydrive via browers. Please check.

Thanks.

ive been trying to get this account back since about 2 years and its been bothering me because everything that i registered was in that account and its blocking EVERYTHING of mine because i can't confirm the email anymore or recover other accounts. Please don't tell me to put in the security question because i did that and it only changes the password (doesn't unblock account), please don't tell me to send recovery link to phone number (because I've changed it a couple of times), please don't tell me to send it to backup email because THAT WAS BLOCKED TOO! and please oh DEAR LORD Please don't tell me to tell you enough information about the account because i don't remember much and the amount that i know isn't enough. Plus I don't even think that recovery method has worked for ANYONE. If i don't get it back I at least want my xbox account back and the information i need to recover my other accounts so i can leave hotmail and switch to yahoo. Thank you for your time.
