If I pay for outlook will I be able to recover emails held in my former address .. My former hotmail was frequently used , it has never been reconfigured ,not hacked etc etc etc , and it wasnt until 5 days ago I noticed when I logged in my password didnt work so I changed it via security question and a new inbox was created with a different email address and different user name ...all folders gone . As I have stated above  If I pay for outlook will I be able to recover emails held in my former address.....

Hello all,

I signed up with MVA back in March.  I have not had a chance to utilize it until now and of course I cannot access it.  This is my problem.

When I attempt to sign in to the Academy I get a red error box:

I have tried logging in to my Live account first and then going to the MVA page.

I have tried not logging into any page, just going to the MVA page.  Then it asks me to login to my live account, which I do and then the error shows up.

I have found the permissions section of my live account and I have deleted the MVA application.

I have re-added the MVA application permissions back by visiting the MVA website first.

I have attempted to locate a way to contact MVA to "reset" my account or re-enroll me but I have been unsuccessful.  Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi

I have 2 x Hotmail Accounts and both are linked to Skydrive.  I cannot find any of my files or photos on either Shydrive account.

Help!

Hi,

I get the error "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in at the moment. Please try again later." .  While trying to access my inbox.

I'm using Firefox (Updated to recent), and when I log into outlook.com / hotmail.com to access my emails I recieve the above error. **

Steps I've taken to resolve;
  • Tried to access on a different computer (Still the same error)
  • Cleared firefox of history, cache, logins etc.
  • Created an outlook email today and logged in successfully on a new email address.
  • Computer reboot
  • Firefox Reboot
  • Browsed forums for answers
  • Can log into to my Outlook profile, but when outlook is clicked from one of the tabs, it returns me to the "Something went wrong... " message. *

None of these have solved my problem.

Additional details;

  • My email is of '@connect.qut.edu.au' extension.  This was provided to me by my university some-time ago and was working Friday 6/9/13. (6th September 2013)
  • I first found the error yesterday and thought giving 24hrs would solve the issue.
  • I have contacted my educational facilities IT department regarding any changes and am awaiting feedback.
  • I was informed when I was given the email address, that I had it for life, and it wouldn't expire.

Its important I get access back because of important emails (Which I will now keep backups of, once I get access back)

Cheers,

Z

EDIT: Added Last Bullet *
EDIT: Clarified Para 2 **

I use both my Hotmail mail and Live mail. Up until a week ago my calendar notifications worked perfectly. Now I do not receive any notifications at all. I have checked and reset all settings which appear to be correct. Can you help please.
The timestamp for my emails are "off" (incorrect) by one hour. These timestamps do not match the clock settings on my computer. I use Windows XP Home edition. How do I fix this problem?

(I was a long-time user of Hotmail, and am not yet used to the new Outlook version.)

Thx for the help. -- Wayne
