live.com contacts disappeared

My contacts in live.com disappeared a couple of days ago - except that 3 are still there.

I have closed and re-opened a number of times.  No change.

Windows Live Mail, Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308).

Not opening email inside a browser.

Contacts are still available in outlook mobile on my smart phone.

Is there a way to get the contacts back on my computer?

Hi,

I want to attach an email to email using my hotmail/outlook account, why can I not do this when it is so simple to do in normal Microsoft Outlook? Please Please Please can MSN/Hotmail/Outlook or whoever owns this make this a feature ASAP!? In addition, simply dragging a file an dropping into an email will also be a quick, easy and time saving feature rather than having to find it as an attachment! Rant over thanks....

Outlook Web Access

I am able to log into Outlook Web Access, read my emails, but when I click "reply," to an email, I get  a screen that says, "Internet Explorer has stopped working. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."  I have not changed anything on my computer but have accepted all Microsoft updaes. I am running Vista. Outlook was working fine until about a week ago and then I started receiving these warnings when I tried to answer emails.  I do not have this problem with my Outlook account only the web version. How do I resolve this issue? Thank-you, Baker House

Syncing to multiple computers

I use 3 computers on a regular basis and want to set up all 3 to access my files on SkyDrive.

I was able to set up 2 of them, which are both running Win7. The files on those 2 computers are synced with the files that reside in my SkyDrive.com folders. I have tried several times to set up the 3rd computer (running Win8) to sync with the files in SkyDrive.com, but no luck.

I have downloaded the SkyDrive app to the 3rd computer, it goes through the syncing process, but when I look at the files in the SkyDrive folder on my local machine using Windows Explorer, either not all the files have been transferred to my local machine, or the files that have been transferred are not the latest version. When I compare the properties of the SkyDrive files on my local machine with the properties of the files in my SkyDrive.com folders, they don't have the same modified dates.

I have uninstalled the SkyDrive app, deleted the installer program from my Downloads folder, deleted the SkyDrive folder from the local machine using Windows Explorer, and redownloaded and installed the SkyDrive app on 3 separate occasions, but I get the same result each time. What I don't understand is, at no time am I prompted during the installation process to log onto my MS account, so how does the SkyDrive app know where to look to sync the files from SkyDrive.com?

Your help would be appreciated.

Office365 Outlook on 2 laptops + Iphone + Outlook 2011 on desktop

My Sony 15" laptop was set up on Microsoft Exchange (late summer) and worked and synchronized perfectly until October 23rd. Subsequent entry did not rapidly connect as usual. Outlook since has only shown "DISCONNECTED" after frequent attempts to connect.

 

Desktop Outlook e-mail receives ONLY.

 

Previously, the Exchange e-mail did not recognize the I-phone as the log-in was a Blackberry format. The I-phone is connecting promptly after changing the corporate access from a BB to normal exchange access on October 1st.

 

1.] Did the change in the Exchange server from BB format cause the disconnect?

2.} What else may have "frozen" the access?

I have never used one and need to attach a read receipt to am email I am about to send.

Can someone tell me how to request a read receipt.

If I want to disconnect the Face Book ability to access my e mail or any other contact info.

If I want to disconnect the Face Book ability to access my e mail or any other contact info. I do not want to resign into their site. I've deactivated , and that's it. Their should be another way to sever Face Book from e mail, twitter, and LinkedIn accounts, without signing back into face book.
