I have been unable to use the invite on messenger feature on Outlook.com for several months now.
When I click "Invite to Messenger" on people.live.com, and type in their email address and submit, all I get is an error saying "This Page Is Temporarily Unavailable. We're sorry, there was a problem showing this page. We experienced some technical difficulties retrieving the content."

I've also noticed that some contacts never appear online for me - despite them being signed in - and I cannot use the rooms feature on my Windows Phone 8 device - when joining a room from an invite it just says it cannot connect and that it is unavailable. I have tried on multiple systems, internet connections, and web browsers, but the issue remains. The account in question is linked to a skype account and an xbox live account. Are there any other steps I can take to resolve this?

With all the integration from Hotmail to Outlook and Messenger to Skype, it seems like Microsoft dropped the ball. Even though I have changed my Outlook and Skype pictures, the older picture for Messenger is what is always sent. I can't find any way to change it. Does any one know how?

when logging into windows live messenger I get a message that says sorry, simething seems to be wrong with this page
I know you can save the avatar, but it's so tiny. Is there a way to download the original file used to upload it in the first place? Or does anyone know how to blow up a very tiny picture?
I just really liked that picture, and the computer that it was saved onto died on me. :(
why can I not get my live messenger contact list on skype? supposed to be automatically on there !!

I had been using MSN messenger normally until Microsoft forced to merge my MSN account with Skype account. Since then, All my contacts were blocked without my consent and I am not able to unblock then anymore. I have already tried going to people.live.com, Manage>Limit Access but no contact is displayed as blocked even though they are blocked indeed. It has been also tried to unblock contact once I am logged into Skype by using Live credentials.
I would be happy if someone could take this pain away.

Windows Messenger takes 10 minutes to load and then prints "Generic System 32 Error". . I have restored to an earlier date but still have the problem. Any ideas of how to solve? I am still on Windows XP.

you need to verify that it is you. The problem is i dont remember the password to the other email adress i used for the account because it is old and i dont remember alot of the details for my account to fill out the verification form like date of birth and
who have you sent email to.
