I get a 'prohibited' sign on emails with attachments from my 'safe contacts' I would expect since they are from my safe contacts that they would not be prohibited.
I have several email addresses grouped under Windows Live Mail.  From Windows Live Mail, none of them are able to send or receive email.  A message box informs me that "you are currently working offline.  Would you like to go online now ?"  When I indicate "yes" I am still unable to "go online".  If I navigate to each individual account separately, I get send and receive email.  But, since I have 7 or 8 accounts grouped under Windows Live mail, it sure would be nice to get to my mail from there ?  Any help would be appreciated.

Original title: Cox has told me that my Windows Live Mail is corrupted !

I am having a problem with my Windows Live Mail.  When I look for replies to "some" emails that I have sent.... there are none.  And these people are all on my contact list and they have been sent a message from my Windows Live Mail.  But if I go online to my Cox Webmail the emails are there!  Although most of my emails are forwarded to my Live account........... not all of them are always there.  So I contacted Cox and they told me that my Windows Live was corrupted.  I have no idea what to do!  If I un-install Windows Live and re-install it will I lose everything?  All of my groups and contacts and such?  And will that even correct the corruption?  I have the Cox Webmail configured to forward all of my emails to my Windows Live but not all of them ever get there.  Please tell me what to do.  I am missing important emails every day! Thank you! Cyndi

windows live mail on my computer, no longer has the "saved messages folder, but Outlook does. How do I make Outlook my default email account on my computer in order to access the "saved messages when I click the email icon?

I have always had a problem with Live Mail not filtering properly. It will send things to the wrong folder, allow them to go to inmail, send them to junkmail, etc, and does so arbitrarily and contrary to what I've entered into my message rules.

But, that's not my latest problem. When I try to to access my e-mail account, I get a message stating that I'm "...Currently offline. Would you like to go online?" With yes/no options. I press yes and the prompt goes away and reappears. No matter what I do, I'm not allowed to go onlline. In the toobar, I'm shown the "go online" option but pressing it does nothing. Of course, I recently did a Windows Update, but Live Mail worked normally afterward and then just stopped after I had gone online to my server to view my trash.

I made up a group contact with one name for all. When I type in the one name for 5 or 6 people it has been working in recipient list. For the last few weeks it works part of the time and the other times it only lists one or two of the people I included. I have gone back in Contacts and reentered the ones I wanted in the group and it was good for a while, but again it leaves out some of the names . I cannot find an answer, I hope someone else can tell me what to do. I
