Unable to export Windows Live Contact into BT Yahoo contacts - message I receive in the Import to BT Yahoo is that the file is not in a .vfc format.  Have viewed file using notepad and it looks OK.
BT Yahoo have also tried to fix the problem.
Windows Live email installed in April 2013
Contacts .vfc created using Outlook in July 2012 will Import to BT Yahoo OK.
Anyone got any clues - Help???
I would like to be able to look at my 'sent' folder and see when an email includes an attachment.  However, when I go to 'view' 'views' 'select columns', 'attachment' is not one of the choices.  I am using WLM 2011.  I know I had this in a previous version of  WLM  but can't find it here.  :-(

Today I was adding a new email address to Windows Mail and it seemed to have kicked Win Mail offline. I exited and rebooted the computer and now Mail will not go online. When I click online it will open a box that say that I am currently offline and to click ok to go online. It will display that box twice and then the box comes up and it will say that the address was canceled and show that Mail is not offline.  I have gone through everything I can think of but to no avail. Also now the weather gadget quit working, like it is continually searching but nothing is found.

I am connected via wired and wireless off my router and browsers work fine as I am getting here, just that now Mail and the weather gadget quit going online.

Any help will be appreciated.

If possible I'd prefer not to removed and reinstall Mail as I would have to go through resetting all the rules and I have many.

Thanks in advance.

Ray

Comcast email. Need to change port 25 to 995.

Clicking on "mailto" links on web pages doesn't open my mail client, Windows Live Mail, running in Vista Home Premium. Windows Mail is still installed, and doesn't open either as expected, since Windows Live Mail is the default. This is the case in IE, Chrome, FF and Safari browsers. If Windows Live Mai was never set as default that might explain this behavior. Can anyone tell me where WinLiveMail is set as the default mail handler? Or is the problem with it being on Vista?

W L M bounces due to port 25. How do I change it to 995  I'm running Win 7 64 bit & IE 10.

I am using Windows Live Mail in Windows7 to send to smtp.demon.co.uk and receive from mail.demon.co.uk. However some deleted e-mails are returned with the recipient the same as the sender.

If I access the account via https://webmail.demon.co.uk which shows a Microsoft Outlook Web App all seems OK

Please help.

Every time I try to retrieve mail, it says I should delete photo email and send again.  Didn't send any photo emails.  Error started recently.  What is up?  Here is the copy and paste from the error box:

Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.
