Ever since MS switched to Outlook.com, my Windows Live Mail Contacts freeze up when I click on a contact. Any ideas?

My hotmail and 'live' email accounts are still not right. At least a couple of times every day it freezes and says 'cannot connect to hotmail and a row of coloured dots runs along the top. I get fed up with waiting for it to work properly.

I am using Windows Live Mail. Every email I receive has a calendar on the right side of the page and it makes it difficult to read without opening it in a new page. Can this calendar be removed permanently from my emails?

I'm Stuck. Trying to set up email accounts on new HP computer that came with windows 8. in order to set up my email addresses I have to verify a email that they send. Obviously I have to open it on my old system and verify from there. change the password each time. then i go back on windows 8 and it wont work. get same message asking me to open and verify email which I have just done. I go back into settings and resend email and start the process over again. I'm getting dizzy. Help
I would like both my Widows live mail Calendar and my Yahoo Calendar (IE) to have the same information. Right now one has birthdays etc and the other has appointments. Can I merge the two? What are the steps?
