cannot verify an alias

first question:

i have a microsoft account and a domain. can i use my microsoft account to receive mails for my own domain addresses?

if i use domains.live.com, i can create accounts for my own domain address, but i cannot use my microsoft account (domain manager) for these addresses. is this possible?

second question:

since i cannot find a way to do above thing by myself, i've tried an alternative way. i cancelled domains.live.com services and set email forwarding for my domain, and i want to add my domain addresses as "send-only" aliases. but i cannot receive the mail to verify the addresses.

i've tried send mails to my domain addresses, and they forwarded properly to my live.com address. only the verifying mail were not received.

Windows 8.1 and windows live essentials

I have windows 8.1 and windows live essentials 2012. Recently when I go into windows live it stops responding. I cannot click on any of the inbox, sent etc etc and I have to use task manager to close it down. This is happening continuously. I have uninstalled it 3 times and reinstalled 3 times. This doesn't help. Can I download an older version of windows live mail to get a better result or can anybody please help. I don't need messenger movie maker etc - just email which works!!

I have been trying to get my old email back, I forgot every question and password I used on that email. I've been trying for years to get it back. I went through the whole 9 yards getting it back, and its impossible. At a online chat with a Microsoft representative they have sent me to a link that reviews your email, they said its unactive and available for use, once I tried making a new account with the same @Hotmail.com email, it didn't let me, it says it is taken, please help.

WLM connection issue

Just upgraded computers and also upgraded from XP to W7. Used Easy Transfer to move
over data. Installed WL Mail (came up 2011 version). It seemed to work okay for a
couple of days. Receiving seems to be okay at all times. However, when sending:
Can send one message. Open WLM to send another. Then close. When I open WLM
the WLM icon disappears and I get an error box saying "Not connected" Further listing
indicate that the first message was sent, but that the program is still trying to send the
second. Obviously because of the "Not connected". There is no way to get back to the
WLM program from the error box. I reboot. The WLM icon appears and the program
opens and the sent box indicates the two messages have indeed been sent.
WTH!
I uninstalled WLM and DL'ed again. After installation I find I now have WL 2012!
Unfortunately, the same problem re-appears. Does anyone have any insight?

Black bars appear on Windows Live Mail

I often get black bars that appear on my WLM client. This happens a lot when I am working with the application. It usually appears when I try to resize a window or when i have it open for awhile. I usually can close out of it and then it would come back up without issues. However, it would happen about a half dozen times in a typical 8 hr work day. I've attached a photo of what I mean by black bars. I am using Windows 7 64bit and Windows Live Mail 2012.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Import of outlook contacts to live mail via csv file is only partially succesful

I have Windows 7 fully updated and outlook 2007 installed, I want to export my contacts to live mail and follow the export to csv option from outlook. When I upload to live mail I only get a small number of contacts import most of which appear to have no e.mail address? I have tried following the instructions several times with no better success. What am I doing wrong and why does the csv file appear to be corrupt as it does not import successfully?

Cursor jumps in Windows Live Mail

I have a new computer running Windows 8.1. I use Windows Live Mail as my email client.
When writing a new message:
1. When I try to place the cursor in the text to add something or make a correction, the cursor jumps to the end.
2. When word is mi-spelt it is underlined in red as usual but right clicking the word does not bring up the spelling options.
Help please.
