I am used to Outlook Express and it wasn't confusing. This is confusing as most days strange things occur. Today, I went to delete a folder marked delete as I already had a delete folder and in deleting it , deleted all of my very important folders which had been under "import" I think as I had moved them initially from outlook express. They are not under the remaining delete folder nor are they in my recycle bin. Where are they? I looked under view, did compact view etc, did not retrieve the folders. Where are they? These were all VERY important folders.
I don't think Windows Live Mail is a good product. I need help in finding my folders, that is not too complicated. Please help me.
My computer prompted me to update my Windows essentials 2012. I did that.
After, I tried to log into Live mail. The program asked me for my password. I entered my old password, however it was not recognised.
I clicked on password forgotten and was taken into the process of getting a new password from Microsoft.
The new password did not work and my live mail was locked.
I am trying to get into my old account by setting a new account with a new e-mail.
What is wrong with the update?
Thanks
Eliska
Following the directions given in help:
It says click on MAIL at the lower left,
Click on FILE at the upper left.
There is no FILE in any part of the bars at the top.
Is there a way to get FILE to show?
When I click on JUNK I do not get the Security Settings that I am looking for. Are they somewhere else? Left click, I lose the highlighted message. Right click, shows 3 options, add toolbar and pertaining to ribbon, but not Security Settings. thank you.
