Server: 'localhost'

hi

i am unable to send receive email messages via Windows Live Mail.

i believe its the following link responsible for the same

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/livemail-wlsettings/messagefolder-filters/7e74cc4e-70a4-4304-8460-3da0b3e72a33

i was trying to create filters and now it won't let me send receive emails.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (.......) account.

Server Error: 4402
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

i searched through all the threads but can't find any relevant working answer for the problem.

all of the threads have got reply saying kindly check your private message.

if possible kindly reply me here so more users could get this problem/issue solved in case they get one.

thanks

hi

i am not able to apply filters to incoming messages. Its only showing Outbox in the "move to folder" listing and not allowing me to create any folders in that either. See attached screenshot.

thanks

HI   I recently did a fresh install of windows 7 on my PC, windows live mail will now only recognise 1 of 2 hotmail accounts, and also it will not recognise my tiscali and talk talk mail account, all these accounts worked perfectly before the fresh installation, I have tried adding and removing the accounts several times this has not worked, I have checked all the passwords and they are correct can you assist

Using windows live mail on windows 8.1,  sending an encrypted email to a recipient who is in my windows Live contacts,  as follows:

I am the sender using Windows Live Mail.  My Windows Live Mail has a certificate associated with my account. That is, in the Windows Live mail, "accounts", "properties", "security", "signing" and "certificate" for signing and encrypting, I specify to use my certificate.  My Certificate matches my email address.

The recipient is in the contacts of Windows Live Mail.  The contact/recipient info has the digital id (certificate with public key, matching their email address) specified in the contact info.

When I compose an email to recipient, in the email window,  I choose options, "Encrypt".    Can chose sign, or unchoose "sign".   When I then send the email, the resulting email is encrypted (SMime) with my certificate.  This is a bug, as the email should be encrypted with the recipient's certificate.

Thus, Windows Live should encrypt outgoing email using the digital id certificate of the recipient, but is incorrect because Windows Live Mail is using the certificate of me the sender.    (Or I be trippin!)

(My email account is with GMail - so Windows Live Mail account is using imap/smtp with GMail)

(The certificates for both sender and recipient are mail certificates from Comodo.com)

Thank You

John

i have live mail 2012 and it receives my charter.net mail and my hot mail. i go to live mails charter accounts properties button but there is no box to uncheck for leaving mail on server under advanced tab. any ideas?

I am on an e-mail List with friends and very regularly now I keep getting bounced from the List until I enable it again.

*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)

This is so frustrating because I then miss a whole day's e-mail conversation
