I am using Vista HP32bit (HP) with WLM Build 15.4.3555.0308

The error in title appears sometimes when switching from mail to calender.

I searched the forum and found the following answer.

Close Windows Live Mail
Start up regedit, and look for this key in the left pane:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail
In the right pane look for the DWord:-
Calendar UI View State
and delete it.
Close regedit and restart Windows Live Mail

I did this but without success.

The key is recreated.

Any other help please.

Hi

Late last night my storage folder just disappeared. Have all my work correspondence under this folder. Can someone tell me where it has gone and how I can restore it. I am new to Windows 8.1 and using Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Looked at my live account on the web and it is empty.

Please keep any replies simple as I am not an IT person.

Desperately need to regain access to these. I used to use Outlook express and never had such a problem before. I thought they were safe in storage. Please assist. Thanks

When I send email, how do I ask for a receipt to tell me that it has been

A. been received

and

B. read??

Starting today I can't login to my hotmail from any computer at home but it works at my workplace.

If I clear my browser cache I can open live.com and enter my username and password but then I get redirected to a page that won't open.

https://bay177.mail.live.com/default.aspx?id=64855

If I ping this address, it replies though.

When I login at work I don't have any problem.

I'm not sure what's wrong.

When logging in I'm redirected https://bay177.mail.live.com/default.aspx?id=64855 and it says this webpage is not available.

I have tried clearing my browser cache. Clearing my temporary internet files. Using IE9 and Chrome. Nothing works.

Please help.

Thanks

I have 2 laptops the original runs on vista and the new one on 8.1. My issue is that my email on the newer laptop has suddenly stopped sending and receiving emails even though the old laptop still does and it is the same email address. About a week ago when I logged on to the old laptop to check the emails it asked me for my user name and password and it is about that time the I started to have problems with the newer laptop and emails. It is not an internet problem though. Help! not very computer savy and would rather not have to pay a tech again to sort out something that I think might have a simple solution.

I create a draft email on one computer and sync that to the IMAP email server.  Later I sync from a different computer and open the draft email but I cannot edit it.  I'm guessing the email now has headers with 'sent' status even though it was only sent to be stored  on the server's drafts folder.

This seems rather silly - if an email is in the drafts folder I expect to be able to edit it.

I too want to transfer win mail 2012 emails to a gmail account because I cannot see my pc win mail folders on 8.1 in my laptop on win 7, so a waste of time having a winmail account. I want all emails to a win mail account automatically forwarded to my gmail account.

Split from an old thread

I have recently added a second account to Live mail but for some reason, I can't get the Drafts, Sent or Trash folders or any of the default folders. They are all there for the default email account but not for the second one. Can someone please help me.
