I am unable to sync my hotmail account using Windows Live Mail. My Hotmail account works just fine through the www.hotmail.com site, so I know the account is fine. This happens every once in a while and I usually just wait a day or so, and it comes back on line, but it's been two weeks this time around. Here's the error message I get:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxxxxxx) account.
Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

My other email accounts on Windows Live Mail are unaffected.

Others obviously have the same issue and it appears that it requires some adjustment to my Hotmail account. Please let me know how to get this done.

I am getting this error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (m*****) account.  Server Error: 3204 Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003


 I have seen many other people as well who had the same problem as me. But there was no real answer for them.

Have gone from Outlook Express to Window’s Live Mail using Windows 7 Professional. There is no advice of undelivered emails as in OE. ISP cannot help. Any advice please

I am having real problems with windows live mail on my laptop.  It seems to be affecting my iphone and ipad also.  I can recieve messages (emails) but when I go to forward, I get the "windows live mail stopped working msg" and restart.  When I try to compose a new message, it shows the same msg but with a debug option.  I have removed windows essentials and reinstalled twice to no avail.  My Ipad and Iphone are also having issues?  On the email topic below, it should say only sending mail.  I receive mail OK.

 

 HELP!!!


UPDATE!

For some reason, the error msgs went away, and I can now compose and forward emails in windows live?  Only problem is that even though the emails are in the sent folder, the receiver doesn't get them??  What a mess!  Any ideas from anyone??

Windows Live Mail auto-correct spelling and capitalization does not work.

I have checked the "auto-correct spelling and capitalization" box in the options menu, but in practice the program only capitalizes the personal pronoun "I," when typed in the lower case, and it does recognize misspelled words by showing the squiggly underscore.  It does not, however, auto-correct capitalization errors such as the beginning word of a sentence, which puzzles me.  I am hoping someone might tell me why.  Maybe I am doing something wrong.  Thanks for any help.

lost emails

I don't find my old emails, it have been more than 6 months that i wasn't connected to my live mail. i don't find my old mails. what's the matter, what was happened!! 

Upgrading to Windows Live Essentials 2011 from 2009

   My wife’s machine is a Windows XP SP3 system running Windows Live Essentials 2009.  I want to update her Essentials to at least 2011 but have been unable to do so.

    I have tried the full download and install only to be informed at install time that the components I want to update are already installed.  They are of course but the older versions.

    I know I could uninstall Essentials and start over but really don’t want to do that.

Any suggestions???

I have downloaded the mail software. My other email headers  have download the appropriate folders - except hotmail. so when I click on hotmail, the is a download button for folders, but nothing happens, and when the other mail has been downloaded, the hotmail message reads:

'Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (fchb1) account. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

Server Error: 404

my O/S is XP, and my live mail is 2008 build 12.01.1365. I have tried more modern versions live mail - with the same problems

Can anyone help?
