_Thanks,

Hotmail worked fine before and after my time in Fiji.

while in Fiji was able to receive Email messages but was unable to send or reply to messages.

Came back with The User name or Password for SMTP is incorrect.

What do I do to correct this as both the user name and password are correct.

Hi,

I recently set up a new outlook.com account.  When I log into the browser there are messages, but they don't show up on my windows phone 8.  I have removed the account and set it up multiple times and nothing changes.  I can send/receive from my other 3 email accounts on my WP8.  In addition, I can send messages from this new account from my phone, just not receive any messages.  Please advise...Thanks!

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that all emails had vanished from my folders.
The deleted mail folder did not get emptied. All recently deleted mail was in there.
How can I get these emails back. I saved them because they were important now they are all gone.
Help!!!
I own two separate domains, one that I use for personal stuff and another that I use for work, let's call them home.com and work.com. Until a couple of days ago I had these both setup for mail using Google Apps and used the multiple account sign-in feature to access both at once.

Seeing as I recently migrated to a Windows Phone I figured I'd give outlook.com a try and setup work.com as a custom domain under my existing Live ID, which is attached to my home.com address. Fine, that worked, it then asked me to setup a new work.com user to create an email address. I did that and started using the account. All well and good.

The next day I needed to sign in to my home.com account to redeem a code for Xbox Live, and this is where I found that it was impossible to login to the two accounts at once, and I would need to sign out of my work.com account first. Delving deeper I discovered that this feature was recently removed in favour of email aliases. No problem, I thought, and once I'd signed into my home.com account I tried to add a work.com alias.

"You can't add an alias with the domain work.com. Try an email address that has a different domain."

Further digging leads me to believe that this is because work.com has been setup as a custom domain, and even though this account is the very same account that created the custom domain, it can no longer be used for aliases.

So my question is: How can I undo this situation so that I can create a work.com alias for my home.com account, yet still send and receive emails to and from the work.com address without it adding "on behalf of" or anything similar to my emails?

If it can't be done then I guess I'll have no choice but to return to Google...

Thanks for any help.

hi

I have a question.

let's say I have a Microsft account registered under *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (not an actual email)

then I closed it. afterwards, I want to create another Microsoft account but I wanna use the same *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email account.

is it possible?

I am on my wife's PC trying to reset her Outlook email/account on her new hard drive after the old one crashed. Since it was installed, she can't access her account using her old password.  I have tried several times get a new password, filled in the security codes gave Outlook my own Hotmail/Outlook address so they can email me to get a new password, but the options are not working. How can I do what was once a simple process?

I am using Outlook 2007 on my laptop and when I click X to delete an email, a line is placed through the email header but the email does not move to the deleted folder.

But if I access my mail through webmail and delete them there, the emails marked with the line through them on my laptop are somehow automatically permanently deleted in my Outlook programme!
