not receiving certain emails

I have not changed any of my settings since i have had Outlook for many years. Suddenly im not receiving certain emails from some contacts. what to do?

Hi,

All me emails that I recieve are automatically forwarded over to a hotmail account so I have a record of it long after gmail deletes it. Over the past week or two every email I get from Facebook such as notifications doesn't get sent. Heres the most recent bounce back I got. 


Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain hotmail.com by mx4.hotmail.com. [65.55.37.120].

The error that the other server returned was:

I'm trying to log into my old email account to retrieve a password, but I have forgotten the password for it. That's not the only problem, I have tried doing the forgotten password thing, and it says that it is not a microsoft email/account? I'm not quite sure what that even means. If anyone can help me out, it'll mean loads, thank you.

Outlook Alias cannot receive email

I have set up a few alias but they cannot receive emails. I sent an email to these alias and I receive a failed delivery notice.

The alias I can see inside my account settings.

Inbox indicates unread emails

Hello, My unread email indicator in the left hand column of my email page has been showing that there is an unread email in my Inbox for weeks, but there is no unread email anywhere to be found. I have tracked back through several weeks of emails in my inbox, way past the time when the indicator started telling me there is an unread email, but there is none. Does anyone know why this happens (it's not the first time) and how to fix it? When I filter unread it reads 'This filter will show you all the unread messages in this folder. (Looks like you've read everything already!)'. Many thanks if you can tell me. 
PS I have read the related topic that outlines exactly my problem and done what the replies.

Outlook Mail in Internet Explorer

I receive an e-mail with a link or attachment, I click on it, and it won't open.  The tab indicating it was clicked on is blank.  How do I fix this?  Very frustrating!  Yahoo mail works fine.  Sometime the links in IE don't open either.  Help!!!!
