Hi
I have recently upgraded to windows 8.1 but I am not sure if the trouble started since then or has only happened today.
I am having trouble using the Skydrive app on my desktop computer. I can access the Skydrive using the web browser and I can access it via the desktop explorer using windows 365. However, when I try to use the Skydrive app I keep getting the following error messages: 'Sorry there was a problem. Please try again later.' or 'Your Skydrive couldn't be created on this PC.'
I am not having any difficulty on my Tablet. Neither am I having a problem on my phone. Just on my Desktop.
Also I am not having a problem signing in to anything else (e.g. Xbox Music, email, calendar, people ) except for the photos app which comes up with the same errors.
I have checked and double checked my account settings but nothing seems to help. I have tried uninstalling the old desktop app which was left over from Windows 8 but that has not helped either.
Has anyone else had this problem and how can I solve it?
Can someone help me please.
I logged on to my e mail site to find all my e mails, folders and contacts had gone.
How can I retrieve them
Really important....!!!!!! Got almost all my works in them....
I'm trying to add my Charter email to my Outlook.com going through the following steps:
Add an email account
Add a send-and-receive account
pop.charter.net PORT 110
mobile.charter.net PORT 587 w/ SSL
All that works fine.
I changed my Default "From" address reflecting my charter email address
I can send and receive but whatever email I send does not show up in my SENT box no matter how much time I give it.
Resetting cache and temp internet files makes no difference.
